It's been too long since Bulgaria made a major appearance on the world stage. Currently the country doesn't occupy any high spots in rankings. The days of DIDI8 , Beast and Zelias are over ...but it seems like the local community tries to revive those times of glory. During the last several months there's been some activity which keeps on rising. It is fact that the number of StarCraft clans and tournaments have recently increased.

But what are numbers ? They don't mean a thing in the world of StarCraft...well maybe only when calculating one's salary or the prize money of a X tournament. StarCraft is about something more, than some random noobs "united" in a clan. The only team that had ever succeed to popularize the Bulgarian flag on the world scene was the long gone - 3wD. The only Bulgarian, that had reached top3 at the World Cuber Games finals was non other than 3wD.Beast (notice that same tag in front of his nick?).

After years of ...no-glory, a new hope rises on the horizon. Team rF- embraces a its new destiny. After having proven not once, that they have what it takes to be a champ, the team was reached by some major companies sponsoring the e-Sport scene in Bulgaria and offered a financial support. rF- joins the iMpulsive Gaming thus also changing it's tag and it is now the only sponsored (or professional if you like) StarCraft team in Bulgaria.

"After conquering the local scene with the rF- tag, we were invited to join iMpulsive Gaming, which is an E-sport team sponsored by few big companies. It made me really happy to see, that there is interest in the E-scene in Bulgaria and that people actually care about StarCraft. Most of all I actually felt my dream came true and see all this work through-out the year(s) being rewarded. Though there are still so many things, that need to be taken into account. We still need to change our roster a bit and make couple of other decisions. At the end I'm glad that it was the friendship, that have brought us together and still keeps us together. We have never expected that things could develop in this way, initially we started this team just because we wanted to have fun together, but not win at all cost."

Recently the team has just claimed its first win against [JC] in the third round of ICCL. Amazing clan war with a 4:1 result in favour of the Bulgarians. For more details go here.

With the current roster, the team is sure to experience even more amazing victories. iMp-OmniOrb finished 3rd in the local WCG qualifications and he is also known for his A+ rank in the last seasons of PGTour. iMp-HolyZerg is also a well-know Zerg player and a nice addition to the team. The rest of the players are rather unknown to the public, but yet to reveal their potential.

iMpulsive Gaming has also COD2, WC3 and CS sections and we may hear about them again, sooner than we can expect.
