well 1st of all I think you cannot decide what the meaning of your life is, you cannot choose its purpose, any thought produced "manually" is something you want, but what you really need comes on its own...

for some people it can be love, finding someone that wakes up a part of you you never knew it existed,

some people might find fear stimulating, fear of not being mediocre, fear of not leaving a mark behind yourself.others cant define their existence so they devote their lives to helping others and fill the hole in their bodies with knowledge that their helping hand made someone's life better.

kinda similiar logic can be seen in marriage, couples find the purpose of their life in children, again forgetting about their own needs, nobody sais it is wrong since its your life and whether you decide to live for others or yourself is up to you.

as for me? i had a dream of revealing the truth behind the catholic church, opening eyes of brainwashed kids, later on i realised they need lies to survive crisis and world will uncover the dirty secrets when people are ready to listen. cant say i was wrong about that since already we've witnessed several tremors in catholic church that couldnt be hidden from the public eye.

my 2nd and kinda omnipresent idea was to find answers to everything, eventually i was left with one question - in what does universe expand. as for the other questions - life and time have given me many answers, but the most important thing was a new face in my life that twisted my idea of chasing questions into chasing her :) so you could say she defines purpose of still rolling on the surface of this world. besides that, there are still a couple of things i'd like to know before i hit the grave :)

Just one thing I don't agree on with you.. I believe one can decide what meaning of one's life is going to be. For the only meaning of your life is the one that you give to it :)

And you pretty sum it up. Different people have got different goals. Tho' I'm interested in hearing Why they do. Why is that you choose this or that purpose of your life. The engine keeping you going.

#2 what i mean is sometimes you have an idea in your head, what you want to do, what you want to be...but then "life is what happens when you make other plans". it just hits you and you simply know you've found the purpose of your life, some people know it from their childhood, like dreaming of being a pilot and nothing more, etc., on the other hand some people figure it out when they grow old.

well.. i really dont know.. really i dont care too much eather.. i live my life day by day.. dont think too much on the future.. coz.. for me.. dont know for the rest of the pepple.. worring about the future is like meaningless.. of course u can worry about what u wanna be, what u wanna do.. but u dont know whats gnna happen tomorrow.. today u might want to be an astronaut.. but then ur mom got sick of something.. and then u change ur mind to be a doctor to help ur mother.. or help others... is life.. i like living it as it goes.. smetimes it'll go as u want it to go.. smetimes it will hit u, and change all the plans u once had, once made... all what u dreamed...
i hope i find my life meaning someday.. may i wont.. as far as i know.. i only wanna live.. experienc all the feelings i can till the day i die.. just that..
i dont know.. may be ill be famous for something, may be i wont.. may be ill married some day, may be i wont.. may be ill die tomorrow, may be ill live 50 more years... who knows.!!?

Just.. Hakuna Matata Man.. Be happy!! Live ur life.. live every day like it was the last day of ur life..!! Enjoy every day, every hour, every minute.. And i bet u wont worry about ur life meaning.. =)
