I remember playing through the WarCraft 3 single player campaign years ago when the game was released, when I had completed it I just tossed the game back with the rest of the games I just played through and never touched again unknowing with the future would bring...

Back then I was totally hooked on Diablo 2: LOD, and was playing it all the time. I did not even touch the WarCraft game until patch 1.10 came to Diablo 2 in late in the year 2003 i think. That is when I stopped playing Diablo 2 because I lost the fun in the game over night...

So one day in the spring of 2004 I was with a couple of my friends in our schools computer room and we noticed the PC's had WarCraft 3 installed on them, we played a couple of games that day, and returned every day after school to the computer room just to play some WarCraft 3 before we went home. Then I remembered that I had the original WarCraft 3 at home somewhere all covered with dust and stuff, so I took it out, installed it, and played a little. I knew the game had already gotten its expansion pack so I ent out and bought it and decided to give Battle.Net a try now that I had a good internet connection.

After a few lost games of Random Team I was totally hooked onto WarCraft (losing and still loving the game...weird, right? :D), and a few thousand games later I've grown to love the game!

I'm not really sure what it is that keeps me playing the game but to be honest I don't even care, I just love to play!

(please notice some of the dates might be wrong, im not 100% sure of them)

The school computeres had Warcraft III installed? ..sound like fiction to me.. :p

I have Wc3 in my college computers, to bad the fags here only know dota, and its the best thing in their lives... Sup?

I think what can keep you hooked onto WC3, is RT. IF you don't have a nice inet, solo is just a pure source of frustration and anger O_o
