At the wee hours of the sun rising (as said by w4nderz), I managed to catch the pretty & lively girls for a vivacious interview, who were kind enough to oblige. All in all, it was a highly entertaining interview done by the girls & overall a great refreshing read.

So from my current understanding of PMS|Nyx you all have many players, whats your current lineup for major competitions? You may also want to provide insights into international platforms as well.
Cass: Jiayi cass kimchi cynthia. Errr
Cyn: We need big sponsors to fly me into singapore everyday to play
Cass: These are our active players. Yeah and jasmine. International-wise its our SMM lineup, rinoa cass jiayi cynthia & kimchi.
Okay so previously you girls were known as ex DN girls, and came back into the scene as Pms|Nyx. From what i understand PMS is an international gaming clan of sorts, so could you all give us a clearer idea on how the newly registered team came about?
Jiayi: We're all friends. That's all. Its just a change of name
Cynthia: We've have been actively participating in mym pride tourneys back in dn girls days where pms spotted us and expressed their interest in us.. it was also a great opportunity for us to enter the global scene.. PMS has an outstanding reputation and provided us with opportunities and support we much needed.. the name pms nyx was just a new name for us.. like they say new year new clothes.. thus new sponsor new name. u can visitwww.pmsclan.com to find out more =)
Oh, so does that mean that you all are representing PMS as their female Dota team?
cyn: Yes.. we represent them in the DOTA Asia section..
Ok, moving on, i heard you all are going to participate in SMM. Any insights on that? Like whats your aim, etc?
Cyn: Yeah we'll be participating in SMM Grand Finals. Our aim is to play our best and give the guys a run for their money.. i guess my girls proved many competitors in malaysia wrong but ending top 8 in the selangor qualifiers with 2 ringers.. we hope to shock more people with our performance and show them girls power!
Speaking about male competitors, some gamers generally stereotype girls being the weaker gamer whereas the male are the more dominant species, what are your feelings towards this mindset?
W4nderz: That mindset belongs to yesterday! There are many successful female gamer stories like mym.cs.. fnatic hafu.. fragdoll and our very own PMS clan in US.. oei u 2 faster reply leh birdies noisy alr
Jiayi: We possess different mentality when we game so i agree with cass
Alright, so apart from SMM, which other upcoming competitions will you all be joining? CAPL perhaps?
Cyn: Go answer this

cass: Probably just Capl in mind for now
Oh, what lineup will you all be going with then. Cause w4nderz cant play right?
Jiayi: She can, she's gonna be back
Cass: Cynthia will be joining us for CAPL in december
Cyn: I'll be back for holidays! if they still want me =(
Cass: 6th man team, consisting of cynthia cass jiayi kimchi jasmine and lyn. Ok correction. It'd just be cynthia cass jiayi kimchi and jasmine. As lyn will be joining another team for capl
I see. So with different commitments in life, such as w4nderz studying overseas, has it affected your training and competition schedules? How do you girls cope with it?
w4nderz: I'm out of the picture.. they are doing good without me =(
Jy: We have regular trainings before tourneys

Haha. Why don't you give us a backdrop of your team then, like which girl plays what role, etc.
Cass: Ok basically. Cynthia and I focus more on the end gamer role. Jiayi and kimchi plays more on the engager and support roles. Jasmine would basically just stick to her support role.
I see. Hmm, let me ask more on your current opnion of Sg's local Dota scene. With the disbanding of Zenith, which other teams do you all expect to rise up to the occasion and why?
Cyn: Xtc.. coz got alanter inside!
Jiayi: Impreza
Cass: I personally feel that Impreza has the potential to do so =D gogo roy! ahahahahaa

Ok moving back to your team's gameplay, who is usually the commander/leader in teamfights? What attribute of hers make her able to command the team effectively, if you must use 1 word to describe?
Cass: Attitude. LOL
w4nderz: Jiayi.. 1 word to describe.. SWAP.
Jiayi: Thats last year. Cass is our main cmder. Cos she's demanding.
Ok, a more personal question, if i may. Say if a Dota player tries to pick u up in game. What would be the best pick-up line or something that will attract your attention?
cass: Erm
cynnie: Wow this is hard
jiayi: None
cass: Yeah , none
w4nderz: Yeah none.. cant think of any
jiayi: Dun really like such virtual situations lol
w4nderz: Girls are too hard to please.. maybe u can open up a competition.. best pick up line.. den we pick for u. LOL
Good idea, we may do just that. So lets move something to more based on the game itself, there has been many changes in the latest version, what is your opinion of it? Do you think Icefrog has finally crafted the perfect version for us?
w4nderz: I personally love 6.56! much more fun..
cass: Well. i'm not very used to the map itself yet. but yeah, it's fun !
w4nderz: Erh actually i have no idea.. LOL just more fun =X
cass: Cause dagger is good. that is why. <3. And we probably wont have to ward as much, cant afford to waste it all .
New items like phaseboots/dust/magic stick do u all like dem or use dem?
w4nderz: Magic stick is a stupid item.. dust is too imba..
cass: Oh yeah, i use dust alot, as long as there's an invi hero.
jiayi: No such thing as perfect version because we're all just gonna adapt to the version changes.. however 656 is a more interesting map as compared to 54b, since in 56 its said that catching is more essential than just farming(which is the 54 style).. so the gameplay itself should be more exciting..
w4nderz: No need to worry ur kuku team mate place the sent in stupid positions
jiayi: Its a bigger map
Great inputs! Yea indeed Icefrog will probably be releasing more versions in the future. Besides Dota, do you all envision yourselves moving on to another game in time to come? Diablo 3 perhaps?
cass: I'm waiting for starcraft 2 actually.
Cynthia: I'm waiting for blizzard to give me money..

Okay so it sounds like you girls will be sticking with Dota throughout. Do you all think Dota has the capability to survive as a E-sports label?
w4nderz: Hopefully it will.. the main issue with dota right now is its long game length.. we've seen .54 games going up to 2 3 hours.. hopefully the new maps, it wouldn't drag that long and create more interest in the public..
True true. So what can we hope to expect from PMS|Nyx in the future? Or rather what are you all looking forward to in the future, your long term goals for this team, etc?
w4nderz: We hope there will be more female teams so that there can be female competitions.. i will certainly be looking forward to that day.. maybe u can see us as champions =P
