Beastmaster Mass Tier 1 Guide vs Orc



Introduction:
You remember the old 1.14 times? All Elf players play Beastmaster and mass Huntz with a few archers. Well, in this Guide i will revive this tactic and show you how to play this vs Orc.

The Build Order:
Start Wisps: 4 Wisps in Gold Mine ; 1 at wood
produce some Wisp then

1st Wisp who comes out of Tree of Life => build Moonwell
2nd Wisp => Gold Mine
3rd Wisp => Wood
other Wisps => Wood too

With the Wisp who comes out at 10 Supply you go scout, the next Wisp goes to the Tavern.
With the Wisp from the Moonwell you should build the Altar of Elders. When you have 160 Wood build an Huntershall and Acient of War and then a Moonwell.

You should be at 17 supply when you buy the Bestmaster at Tavern.

When you have 60 Wood build another Ancient of War.

Early Game:
The 1st skill of the Beastmaster is Quilbeast (lvl2 => Hawk, lvl 3 => Hawk, lvl 4 => Quilbeast, lvl5 => Hawk), go and harras the when he creep or go in his base and harras Peons, Burrows, Shop and so on while you build Huntz fromn the 2 AoWŽs. When you have around 3 Huntz go back and try to Creep your Bestmaster as fast as possible to lvl 2, on Turtle Rock/ Twisted Meadows and Gnoll Wood you can creep fast to Level 3.

Mid-Game
Ok, its not really Mid-Game^^... you Beastmaster is lvl 2 or 3 now and you have around 6 Huntz. Now Take 5 Wisps from your base on go to the Orc and yes build 5 Acoient Protectors ! From now u stop building Huntz - build mass Archers now. Why ? cuz Orc base > Huntz, with Archers youu can attack his Burrows and Katas, with the Huntz you can kill the Grunts, surround Hero etc, you Beastamster should got lvl 3 now (if you hadnt it before) so you can kill his Katas (wich he will build to kill the Tower) easy.

Well, now there are 2 things wich can happend
1: You won the Game with Tier 1 Units only
2: The enemy countered the Towerrush and the Game continues.

Ok, lets say the enemy countered the Towerrush, if you see you cant hold the Towerrush and he will counter it Tech to Tier 2 and set up a Tree of Life for an Expansion.
You should build Huntz and Archers on mass (40% Huntz and 60% Archers).
Creep the Expansion and on Tier 2 get the Firelord and skill Lava spawns. On Tier 2 build 1 Ancient of Wind and some Talons to support the Mass Tier 1 Units, tech the Armor and Damage for Huntz/Archers and always scout for Expands from the Orc. with around 70 supply you make go with Heal Scrolls, Protection Scrolls if he didnt make a go before.
With the Archers/Talons/Hawk foucs his Katas and mb Kodos
With Huntz/other summons kill his Raider, Grunts

i guess after losing the tr u can give up, i guess u got a big disadvantge, but im no ne player

You have some good points there. But tbh the Orc player needs to be pretty shit to not be able to win you if you try to tower rush him and fail, and set up an expansion soon after that, and tech at the same time. You'd be in a terrible disadvantage right there...

remember that if the tr failed he was muping out units from 2 rax, he can start an expo and tech easy couse he made agood ammount of units while rushing, and if he aint stupid he managed to maintain atleast 40 food. And since the first t2 unit is rider it aint much prob for hunters, unless you have 2 rax pumping out mass catas. But in that case he ussually had a solo hero for a while that got a good lvl so he can take care of most the shit that orc will throw at him.

#7 If the TR fails, then the elf will seriously be in trouble. Firstly, failing a TR results in losing a lot of resources, both in support units and the actualy towers. Secondly, if the elf would have such a upper hand as you are talking about, there would be no need for the TR in the first place :)

think of the ammount of t1 units a ne can spawn out at the begining and how effective they are vs t2 orc? + if the NE tr fails dont forget he will leave the orc not in the best condition... I gues it depends of what stage of tr we are talkig about... if the towers were finished and they did do some damagge then its not such a big loose, or if the tower never had the chanse to finish and they were canseled and the wisps returned, no loss here. But if the towers jsut finished and you TP'd out jsut to let the orc finish the towers then its a loos that is serios enaugh to playt very agressive using the last advantage - mass.
I shoiuld write smthing to explain this in a better way :)
