Interview with Sun Li Wei (wNv.xiaOt, Orc 11, China) after his game vs. Carlos Armendairz (Undead 1, USA) on the map, Maelstorm.

1. This is your first Winning in WEG2005 Season 3 how do you feel?
Am quite happy because I didn’t have enough practice on this map.

2. It was a little dangerous in the beginning how did you feel afterwards?
When I lost the mid-game battle, I didn’t see it as a crisis. I was sure I would win in the last part.

3. You will play against Christophe Laporte(GG18.Wolf) next game. How do you feel playing against Nightelfs?
There are many famous Night Elf players in China. I am confident since I had to win against many Night Elfs when I went through the qualifier, so I am especially at ease in playing against Night Elf.

4. Jae Ho Jang is also Night Elf.
All Orc players have difficulties playing against Jae Ho Jang. If I meet him again, I will do much better. I didn't play to my potential this time.

Interview with Liu Jin (Qch[Ati]GoHome, Undead, 3, China) after taking a surprise victory over Bjorn Odman (SK.Duck, Orc 12, Sweden) on the map, Bloodhoof.

1. You had a reversal in fortunes in your game today. How do you feel now?
Very good. I was short of strength on heroes until the middle, so I thought I was going to lose. However, I won because I had the chances to attack the units when the heroes and units were apart.

2. You didn’t produce any units in the beginning. Was that your stategy?
I have not lost against an Orc player with this strategy in the Asia Pacific qualifier of WEG. Sun Li Wei also won with this strategy in the grand final in China.

3. You are strongest against Orc?
Yes. In China, Undead users are usually weak but I am hardly ever defeated by Orc. I believe I am among the best Undeads in China.

4. Who do you usually practice with?
With friends in China through Free Battlenet. I never do Ladder Because I am new in China, it’s hard to have someone to practice with. I guess it’s good to practice with people you know.

5. Wouldn’t you be beyond if you don’t do Ladder in the latest strategies?
I believe that all the strategies used by Undead at the moment are bad. It’s better to make a custom-made strategy.

6. You will play against Dong Moon Kim (NiP.GoStop) next?
I used Fiend in all my mirror matches in China. I don’t know what to use against Dong Moon Kim. I am a Fiend user and I am to play against the best Fiend user, Dong Moon Kim.

Interview with Jung Hee CHUN (WE.Sweet, Undead 12, Korea) after taking 2 wins in the current season he beat Dimitar Aleksandrov (mTw-DIDI8, Night Elf 5, Bulgaria) on the map, Nighthaven.

1. A hard fought victory for you today, how do you feel winning against Dimitar(mTw.DiDi8)?
I'm quite happy. I think I llayed nice in the beginning but during the game there was a moment when I thought that I would lose. But after all that am happy that its over.

2. Undead is strong against Nightelfs on Nighthaven, what do you have to say about that?
True but this map can be a good map depending on the prepared strategies. I knew it while practicing so I was good to go when the real game came.

3. Who do you usually practice with?
Hyung-ju Lee who is in the same team as I, World Elite.

4. What are your thoughts on Dimitar?
I knew he was a good gamer, so I knew that winning against him would not be easy.

5. Your Next match will take place against Liu Hong Liang (WE.Tiger). Any thoughts on that?
I’m confident and will back up my words with results because am sure I will make it 3 wins in a row and advance to the top 8.
