As expected the Ninjas in Pyjamas started out with a win in the tournament and got a win versus the Spanish powerhouse  x6tence. In group B the chinese guys from  wNv more or less ran over the Danish team from  Asylum on  de_inferno. The last match for today was the Finnish team  Serious who took on their neighbors from Sweden, clan  NoA, whom they defeated.

 Turmoil vs  project_kr:

This match started with high expectation from fans because the skills and capacity of both games were in a veil.

Project_kr gained 7 points when they were "Terrorists" but lost mainly due to the aggressive skills of Steven McColvic and Sejim2. As  Turmoil won the first game, they are ready to prepare for the 2nd game with x6tence.

 Jax Money Crew vs  Team9:

JMC applied the special tactics of da_bears and showed its efforts. However, they also showed the unsteady team-work because the current line-up has only been 3 months, and allowed  Team9 a decided.

On the other hand, Team9 easily got the first winning with their farm team-work.

 Check-Six vs  Abitstrike:

Check-Six prepared for this match with their own strategy and analysis.

However, they only focused on the prepared strategies not considering the opposing team’s style, so  Abitstrike got the match with big score difference.
Abitstrike demonstrated good team-work without fluctuation like WEG2005 Season 2.

 x6tence vs  Turmoil:

x6tence with one lost achieved one winning against  Turmoil. In the first half, x6tence was leading the game by winning the first round. Turmoil had their strong attacks and gained scores to have a hard game. In the 2nd half, x6tence showed stable game management and won.

On the other hand, Turmoil lost although Seijim2 played well. As x6tence won, there are unclear forecasts which teams in Groups will advance to top 8.

 Asylum vs  Jax Money Crew:

As both teams had the record of 1 lost, this match was important to advance to top 8. Thanks to stable team operation of  Asylum,  JMC yielded although JMC led the game with the winning in the first round.

Asylum lit the green light to advance to top 8 resulted from steady money management and Hpx, Brian Christinson.

 NoA vs  Check-Six:

NoA pushed  Check-Six hard as if they wanted to mark-up their past lost in the first game.

NoA’s leader, XeqtR showed intelligent team-leading by analyzing the position of its competitor and targeted the weakest site.

On the other hand, reCTOOOR in Check-Six didn’t fulfill his role and recorded the 2nd lost.
