Night Heaven, the two favourites for the WEG III title, Moon and Lucifer, clashed together in the opening round of the 2nd. Group Stage. And Lucifer managed to beat the Nightelf legend to secure a current #1 rank in group E, along with NiP-GoStop.

Another Undead vs. Nightelf match on Nightheaven in group E. The runner-up from last season, GoStop, managed to take out his Nightelf opponent, and by doing so accompany Lucifer at the #1 spot in group E while SaSe have to defeat Moon in the next round to keeps his WEG hopes alive.

In group F ElakeDuck started out against the French superman Wolf on Turtle Rock. And the Swedish orc player managed to defeat the mass talon strategy, which is working very well versus orc these days.

Sweet is the only player left with an undefeated scoreboard. He is at the moment holding a 3-0 winstreak and on Turtle Rock he extended that to a 4-0, as he defeated his clan mate from China.

The Nightelf starplayer from Sweden, SaSe, was up against one the greatest players in the world, Moon, and the message was clear. After losing his first match against GoStop he had his back against the wall since a 0-2 score would send him out of WEG III. The situation was not different from Moons since he lost his first round match too, against Lucifer. But Moon is still among the players fighting for the title after he won against SaSe on Maelstrom.

Sweet is really looking strong at this year WEG. Coming with a 4-0 score he was to face ElakeDuck in a match there might turn as Sweet's first loss since the Undead vs. Orc matchup often gives Undead trouble. But nevertheless Sweet managed to win against ElakeDuck on Bloodhoof and secure a #1 spot in group F and a 5-0 winstreak at WEG III.

Both Wolf and Tiger lost their opening match in the 2nd. Group stage, so the match was of great importance for both. And it all ended with Wolf taking home the win on Maelstrom and by doing so keeping his WEG dream alive. But his next match is against Sweet, who seems to be on fire, so Wolf needs to pull some magic stuff out of his hat.

Another clash of the giants in group E as the two persons sharing the #1 spot was to meet each other on Bloofhoof. GoStop is doing pretty good lately and he managed to take down his fellow countryman Lucifer and by that knocking Lucifer down from the #1 spot.

Bloodhoof

Lucifer at 6 clock, Sase at 12 clock. Lucifer wants to rush sase with 2 crypt but because crosspawn cant. So Sase makes pretty fast tech without units for long time :). Tier2 Lucifer starts going mass gargs as Sase makes 2 lore with mass dryads adding potm on the run.

Lucifer is hunting Sase as much as he can and finaly he succeeds by creepjacking and killing potm. After that Lucifer pushes hard to Sases base finishes this game with GG.

Nighthaven

Both spawn at lowerposition, Moon chooses DR first with archers while Lucifer goes standark DK ghouls. Lucifer tries to harass with DK but doesnt get any huge benefits. After some creeping Moon pushes with DR and archers and makes terrorises Lucifers base but is forced to leave. Now Moon chooses Double lore with dryads adding Panda too.

Middle game Moon makes expansion and masses some more dryads ^^. Lucifer harass even more and manages to take expansion down with nice use of sappers, but Moon is raiding again Lucifer base and its not looking good.

End game Moon makes 2nd expansion while Lucifer has only start goldmine left. Lucifer last attemp is adding lich with some aboms but its not enough as Moon is bumping dryads inside of 3 lores and Lucifer is forced to leave and hope that Sase wins Moon!

Rematch round 1

Turtle Rock

Close spawn, Both players chooses DH with archers. Let say it takes 11 minutes before first hero reaches lvl 2 :). Sase is very agressive and manages to destroy early Moons aow and halts archers production a bit. Both players chooses Naga 2nd and techs for bears. after that 11 min long waiting, both players start creeping.

After some creeping Sase decides to attack while having lower lvl heros and 15 food lower population but still after long fight makes that fight equal. At end Moons heros are again much higher and much more units but with miracle staff usage Sase balances final fight and forces Moon say GG.

Rematch round 2

BloodHoof

Cross spawn again. Both players going standard opening (DH archers and DK ghouls). Some harassing by lucifer and when both players arrives tier2, its Air time. Sase adds kotg and techs tier3, Lucifer goes tier3 too.

Tier3 Sase makes hidden Chim roost as same time Lucifer is making expansion and adding lich. Sase wants that expansion attempt down but is forced to retreat and loses lvl 3 DH on the run. As Lucifer sees those chims, he quickly makes 3rd crypt and starts massing gargs. Quickly Sase is overwhelmed with mass gargs and is forced to leave.

Rematch round 2

Maelstrom

Close spawn, both at top spawns. Moon chooses this time Beastmaster with archers. Again Lucifer harasses with DK while creeping with ghouls. Even though Lucifer keeps pressure Moon still makes expansion. Now lucifer wants to make his own expansion, after Moon noticing constructing expansion, short battle occurs. Moon is forced to leave and Lucifer gets his expansion up and runnning.

Middle game Moon puts expansion up but lucifer manages to take it down later. Moon makes massive 80 food worth of dryads, Lucifer 80 food of gargs ^^. After a while Lucifer wants 2nd expansion and puts it up rather easily, only to get it down few mins later.

Okay at end Lucifer army consists DK+Lich+DL+lots of gargs+few aboms+Statues while Moon has BM+Panda (both lvl 5)+huge huge amount of dryads and few bears. But moons massive army of dryads finish Lucifer totaly.

Rematch round 2

NightHaven

Moon goes Potm and Sase DH. While Moon decides to 2 aow hunts, Sase chooses tech and only 1 aow hunts. When Sase wants hes 2nd hero Beastmaster, little tavern blocking happens but Sase makes out of that tricky situation and manages to take POTM down.

When Moon arrives tier2 he starts making mass glaive throwers to counter Sases mass dryads. After middle game fight both players go back to own base to lick their wounds but Moon was hurted more as all hes glaives went down. Now sase is teching tier3 and wants some bears.

At near end game goes very exciting as Moon manages to get lvl 6 Potm and Sase lost his Beastmaster but Moon doesnt attack Sase base at all decides to gather some more units before attack. Finaly Moon makes assault Sases base, This point games look very much going to Moon because Sase managed to TP back only with his DH and loses it to surround. But Sase makes nice move and hires DR. Now that Potm cant cast Starfall without been imidialetly canceled Moon loses game and forces 3rd regame round :)

NightHaven Regame for 2nd spot.

Wolf at 12 clock, Elake at 7 clock. Wolf chooses to go DH with arches and Elake BM with grunts (both going very standard here). Both start some early creeping and little hide and seek game going on. Elake then makes warmill and sends some peons towards wolf base while hiring naga as 2nd hero. But Wolf sees those running peons and kills few on the run.

So action start when Elake puts towers near Wolf base and fights so long that he manages to get towers up and after that Wolf fight losing battle to the end.

Regame Round 3

Maelstrom

Crosspawn, Lucifer at topside of map and Sase at bottom. Both players are very tired (they tell that) but they still play maximun effect and hopes GGs :). So Sase chooses DR as first hero with archers and hoards lot of skeletons as he proceeds to next creep camp to another. While Lucifer goes standard DK ghouls with first creep camp middle fountain. Sase creepjacks Lucifer but nothing big is lost yet. After some figthing at middle, Sase gets all items and manages to kill ghoul!

Tier2 Sase adds Panda to his army while lucifer makes mass gargs. Sase doesnt like been tier2 so long, tier3 tech with 2 lores (dryads). Lucifer other hands stays tier2 and makes even more gargs and harasses wisps and manages to delay wood production a lot.

After hard harassing Sase decides to leave huge amount archers and dryads to base to defend and goes wandering around with DR and panda. Well Lucifer surrounds and kills Panda :). This point Deathknight is lvl 5 as sases heros are lvl 3 both. This panda dead, lucifer is using it well and kills almost everything that Sase had before panda is back in action. This point we can see Lucifers Wood harass at his best. Sase has 2000 gold and no wood, while lucifer is making already some abos and lich. But with good control Lucifer wins this game and now lucifer faces again Moon.

Game ends with frienly chatting Sase saying that gogo win Moon and Lucifer says i do my best :) (extra info :D)

Regame Round 3

BloodHoof

Lucifer Spawns at 12 clock, Moon 9 clock. Early tactics are, DH with archers while UD goes DK ghouls. Moon does some nice Wisp saving with moon well trick =_=. Lucifer makes 2 crypt and decides to creep to lvl 2 get aura, at that time Moon decides to harass his creeping but loses few archers at same time. Moon decides to delay teching and makes 2nd aow and masses more archers while making hidden Tree of lifes, which lucifer finds both.

Both players are tier2, Lucifer now makes more gargs and adds lich to his army. Moon goes even more archers and adds talons in way. Again Lucifer cancels Moon 3rd expansion attempt and now Moon goes tier3 with 2 wind buildings.

At end lucifer is harassing moon hard, not letting him do anything without lucifer notice, though Lucifer loses his Lich game goes very easily to Lucifer pocket and its GG. (game length 12 minutes).
