
The Intel Extreme Masters Season IV: European Championship Finals is just around the corner, seeing twelve Counter-Strike teams gathering up in the city of Brühl, Germany, to fight for the Best European Team title. Defending champions, mTw.dk, will have a tough start as the Dannish team will face teams such fnatic, Alternate or oXmoze in the Groupstage of the competition.
The IEM IV Participants have been split in two groups, each group having six teams. Whoever finishes first automatically advances to the Playoffs, while second and third ranked will have to play Relegation matches. The first six teams of the tournament will advance to the Intel Extreme Masters Season IV: World Championship, where Evil Geniuses, compLexity (American Finals), SK Gaming and fnatic are already qualified.
