Dreamhack Winter 2008 is "finally" over - Just woke up from a 14-hour beauty sleep and wow, I am still tired gg (Gunz and Puppey would have laughed now, dschi dschi so geeky).

First off all, me and Kasper (myMYM.TMA) were leaving on Wednesday for Dreamhack, we had to go by train since the myMYM guys were leaving on Thursday morning, but we had to leave the day before because Yana (myMYM.Visarka) was due to arrive in Jönköping, Sweden on Wednesday already. I did not want to leave her alone for one day, since she was coming from Russia to Jönköping for us and of course to the event as well.

However, when Kasper and me arrived at the train-station in Copenhagen, we found out that we had booked the wrong tickets.. don't ask if we are tards.. I have no clue how that could happen. When we first booked the ticket, it took like about an hour just to book it online, because none of us read Swedish nor understood what was written at the page, so we contacted a few Swedish players and somehow finally found out how to book after an hour. But seems like at the time where we clicked back and forth to see even where to book, the date kind of changed back to the booking date and not the date we wanted to depart.

Anyway, after we booked a new one everything worked out, we drank a few Julebryg beers (Christmas beer in Denmark) and after one six-pack and 4-hour-30-minute ride, we finally arrived in Jönköping. To our surprise, the hotel was not far away from the train-station, and we just had  to cross the street and walk 2 minutes to reach the hotel.

We called Yana to come down to the entrance. We hugged each other like two crazy people when we met. I have known her since, hmm, i believe 1-2 years now, and if you are talking to someone for hours and hours each day it's just an uber nice experience to finally meet that someone. That doesn't just count for her, the same also goes for Kevin (RotterdaM) he was one of the first persons I have ever got to known online when I started to play games on the Internet, even before i started working for myMYM. I know him for such a long time, and yeah i could now write lots of stuff, but let's just leave it with one sentence. Meeting him in real life is just simply amazing, I can't even find words to describe it. It's just special. As I said, I can't find any words for it, bear with me and you both know how I think ;p I remember when we were driving back home with the car, and I grabbed my camera out of my bag just to see the pictures.. and thats nothing bad, but doing that not just once, but many many many times, is not normal? hehe, so many great memories, there's not enough space to write it all down what happened and how everything feels ;p. Brrrr, I sound so emo, don't I? But yeah, if you haven''t experienced something like that before, I can't make you feel the same as I did, but I tell you, it is going to be more than great. Of course, that just counts for the people you care and like.

So anyway back to the topic, I won't write anything in detail like day1, day2, day3 etc. I'll just skip that because it is simply too much to write down and I also think that most of you would skip it just to see the pictures :D. So when we unpacked our stuff, the hotel room looked all messy and we decided to just go out and take a walk, get to explore the village of Jönköping.. I'm telling you, there is really nothing you are missing if you haven't been there. It's just a dead city.

Anyway, the first night we had in the hotel was "alright" we just had a single room (meaning only one bed) and we had 3 people, so yeah you can imagine how that ended up? If not here you go:

So first he was sleeping in the chair, but that was tooo uncomfortable so he changed to the floor. Poor him. (He is still whining about it)

The only thing that counted for us back then, was just the thought of meeting each other, ehm drinking few shots to survive the night :D and eating steak at Jensens. We went to eat at that steakhouse everyday ever since we arrived in Sweden, so that means 5 days steak days gg?

But yeah as you can see, steak is not the only thing nice there. Hello beer!

When we arrived there we set-up our PC's and checked the halls where all the players were sitting before we started to work. Everything worked out fine actually, until my PC just kept turning off o_o and we could not fix it. Anyway after a while we got to fix it and everything worked again. Then, I noticed  Maelk standing behind us, and was saying that one of their PCs weren't working and they didn't know what to do, and they had to play their matches. So i gave him my PC, and since then through out the whole event I didn't have my own PC. Great huh? An e-Sports event without having a PC. Classic epic fail! But hey, it was so that they could play, and that counts.

After meeting everyone, we wanted to make a video-interview with Puppey and Gunz right away, so yeah those were our first 2 victims. Since that day, we started to "hang out" with both of them. I could have never imagined in my life to hang out with Puppey before haha, I always just noticed him as a bad mannered and flaming/joking guy on the Internet, and just writing some bullshit comments etc. But, when we got to know each other, we noticed that it was pretty cool to chill out together and we went out for dinner, drinking and clubbing with Gunz and Puppey many many times, or just sit in the hotel room and talk.
