ESL Pro Series Scandinavia Season I
Starting on November 17, 2008 the ESL Pro Series Scandinavia is going to kick-off with an interesting first season, in fact the first ever EPS series combining all four Scandinavian countries, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
With a total prize purse worth more than €24.000 this spectacular Esport league is a safe bet that thrill and tension are elements that will not be missing in any match.
Apart from the fact that the ESL is going to provide the greatest online and offline competition on a supreme discipline level, the lineup of the respective Counter-Strike division attracts more attention than any other league recently.
Among others teams such as mTw, WCG 2008 Gold medalist, SK Gaming, fnatic, Gameplay and many more are eager to take home the first EPS.Scandinavian title.
- EPS.Sca league period: November 17, 2008 - February 1, 2009
- Number of participants: 10 teams in CS 1.6 and 10 players in WC3TFT
- Matches per week: 5 CS1.6 and 5 WC3TFT
- Intel Friday Night Game: January 16 2009, Location: Copenhagen
- EPS.Sca finals: February 7-8 2009, Location: Copenhagen
- Prizepool: €24.000

SK is out! They got -14 rounds. Even if fnatic would lose their last two games both 0:16, they would gain 4th/5th place (depends on Ex-GamePlay) with -12 rounds.
