Intel Extreme Masters - Season III
It's the biggest global tournament in both Counter-Strike and World of Warcraft thus far - the ESL Extreme Masters Season III attracts gamers, players and investors with a spectacular LAN event schedule across the globe plus an unbelievable prize purse worth more than $750.000 USD total.
All in all, 32 teams participate only in the CS tournament, whereas the world's best WoW PvP Teams such as Pandemic, Nihilum and SK Gaming contest each other to prove their distinction.
In this season we will hold nine major events in the USA, Asia and Europe before the season reaches it's climax at the World Finals in 2009. Soon we will announce the event and you will have your chance to visit one of the Intel® Extreme Masters events: See the world's best players face to face competing for honor and a total prize money of 750.000 US-Dollars!
Just a few of the participating contestants in each game discipline will advance to the World Finals, according to their performance at respective Extreme Master Global Challenge results or in the online tournament, that find its highlight at the CeBiT 2008 in Hannover, Germany.
