Currently seen as the strongest team in the world, the Polish players from MeetYourMakers can present a huge history of experience and their achievements are many. The team recently won the Electronic World Sports Cup (ESWC) in San Jose and are one of the favourites to take the first place in Los Angeles.

myMYM's Puma and Kaze grabbed   Filip "Neo" Kubski to provide you guys with information regarding their mindset and their preparations.

Are you ready for L.A.?

Hey. I think we are almost ready, we just need to do some last corrections to our new tactics!

What do you think about California and the event location in general?

We all love California, can't wait to get there. When we were still in PGS we have spent two weeks in Los Angeles, and we have enjoyed that time very much. Now we are really looking forward to go there again, and to take revenge for the last Extreme Masters event in Los Angeles, hehe.

How's the overall shape of the team at the moment?

After winning ESWC we are more optimistic than before, and our self-confidence has grown, hopefully not too much. I think, or I hope we are able to get to at least a top3 placement at this event.

Are you prepared for the event? How did you prepare?

After WCG Polish qualifier, which was right after ESWC, we had a one week break, so we've been practicing for almost 3 weeks. We decided to make some changes in our game, to correct mistakes we've made at ESWC. And of course everyone in the team was playing individually besides team practice times.

Have you had any problems preparing for this event?

The only problem we had was - as always our internet connections in Poland. Some of us had bad pings on some servers, and others with different provider had terrible pings on other servers. We had to find the best one - which was still pretty bad.

How do you see your chances?

On that high level Counter-Strike is a little bit random. But it seems like we are in a good shape, so maybe with some luck we will be able to reach the top3.

Who do you think looks the most promising to take the title?

As always I will have to say SK. Before every event I was seeing them as our hardest opponent, but this time they were the team that have practiced the most of all teams, which has never happened (it was always us, lol). Now we can see that they are really motivated and determined to finally win something. And of course, they got zet now, and who knows what he can bring to the team.

Can you give us your guess on a final top 3? Please explain why you choose the teams you choose.

2. SK
3. fnatic/mTw

MYM because it's us, SK because we have to win against them (finally), and fnatic/mTw because they are our favourite opponents and this time we can't lose to them (again?).
