Preview: WE.Sky`s blog
Prior to leaving for San Jose, 
Sky recollects his thoughts and pens them down in a blog originally posted at Replays.Net.
 I represented China along with Syc and Guangmo in the finals of ESWC2005 in France. During that year, I really gave my best shot in every single match, and I had a significant amount of luck as well. However, I was particularly afraid of being drawn into the same groups with the Korean Undeads. Eventually, I managed to reach the semi-finals where I lost to apm70; I guess I had let my guard down against him. In 2006, I replaced Sai at the ESWC Finals. Much like the previous year, I was very prepared for the tournament and was still pretty weak against Undeads. Unfortunately, I had to face Lucifer in the semi-finals. It’s not that I was afraid of him, but more of me not wanting to compete against him for the top 4 positions. I played three strenuous games against him, but eventually lost on the last map – Turtle Rock. In that year, I finished third. I didn’t represent China in ESWC 2007. 2008 was a rough journey so far. Right now, I’m trying to dig up my form from WCG 2006 to compete at this year’s ESWC. I haven’t won an international championship title in a long time, so I am really hungry for this one. I’m about to leave for the airport now. ESWC, here I come! Fighting! |
