ESWC Korea representative mTw-whO insists he would love to face his compatriot MYM]Moon in San Jose despite barely losing to the latter just last week at the Grand Finals of WCG Korea.

The pair frequently met each other at various tournaments over the recent months, with Moon winning most of the time. However, the 20-year-old Orc player is ready to prove that his 3-1 victory over ‘The Fifth Race’ at NGTV All-Stars was no fluke.

“Firstly, I am happy that there are so many Koreans representing our country this year,” he said. “The possibility of a Korean winning ESWC is much higher, and with more Koreans competing, the competition becomes more interesting.

“However, if I have the chance, I want to play against Moon.

“Sooner or later, I will have to win my first championship title. And to do that, most probably I will have to face Moon. I’ll have to win then.”

mTw-whO, who will also be representing his nation this year at the WCG finals in Cologne, has revealed that he expects to finish fourth place at this year's ESWC.

“I believe my shape is very good at the moment, and I’m quite lucky lately as well,” he added.
“But I think I’m only performing well for a short period of time by finishing at least top 4 in all events. So I guess I’ll target for a fourth place first.”

And while ESWC has removed the Orc-favoring maps such as Gnoll Wood and Lost Temple, whO maintains that the map-pool will not affect his chances this year.

“Yes, Gnoll Wood and Lost Temple are good maps for Orcs, but that’s not going to affect me so much.

“If I practice a little harder than how I usually would, I suppose I can do even better than anyone’s expectations”

However, he has also admitted that the only player he dreads is mouz.Fly100%, who unfortunately will not be attending the ESWC Finals following a poor campaign at the Chinese qualifiers.

“If given the opportunity, I wouldn’t want to face Fly100% at all, because I lost very badly to him at NGTV’s All-Stars.

“So I guess it’s good for me that he won’t take part in the finals this year,” he said in jest.
