Moon in dreamland after Sky victory

Korea, South Nightelves MYM]Moon has expressed his delight following a smooth 3-1 victory over perpetual rival, China Human WE.Sky. Widely regarded as “The Fifth race”, tomorrow will mark the third time that Moon will be featured in the Grand Finals of PGL.

“I can hardly express how happy I am. The feeling of beating Sky is like I’m flying in heaven,” he said.

“Everyone knows that Sky is an excellent player, and every match against Sky is really difficult.”

The 22-year-old current defending champion of PGL claims that he was chastened by the first game on Twisted Meadows where he went for an ‘unconventional strategy’, but managed to come back with three consecutive map-wins.

“Before I played Sky, I didn’t really have much confidence to win. But I still believed in myself anyway,” he continued.

“After losing the first map (Twisted Meadows), I became nervous and regretted going for such an unconventional strategy. But since half of all my tactics against Human have been used in my games against TH000, I then decided to go for a normal playstyle.

“Since there were 5 maps, I didn’t really have time to practice on all of them. Instead, I’ve just watched replays and thought about the tactics that I would use against him.”

Moon - Not much confidence, but still won anyway

Moon has also attributed his victory over Sky to Lady Luck, who happened to be on his side.

He said: “I really don’t think Sky played his best. I don’t think my performance was very good, but I have to say that I was really lucky yesterday.”

Nonetheless, the MYM man assures that he will be doing his best tomorrow against dark-horse, TH000 in order to clinch this season of PGL.

“I’ve been practicing hard. But my flu is affecting my performance and I’m not satisfied with that.

“TH000 has lots of surprising strategies hidden under his sleeve, but I have also been preparing more strategies against him.”

Hmmm I don't get it, due to the PGL coverage of the website, Moon won the winner bracket finale over sky. So why doesn't have TH000 to play against Sky for the loser bracket final before playing Moon in grand final ?

Because the PGL-admins discarded the double elimination and took the last 4 and redrew them to a single elimination bracket where they started in the semi-finals.
I'm forever blowing bubbles!
