Group Stage Matches

This is how the Group Stage schedule looks like. The top 16 players are now paired with the other 16 winners from the Qualification Round into 8 groups of 4.

The play system will be the best-of-3 format and the maps are Longinus, Blue Storm and Zodiac. The way the players advance is similar to a Korean StarLeague:

1st game - Player A vs Player B
2nd game - Player C vs Player D
3rd game - winner of the 1st game vs winner of the 2nd game - (the winner advances)
4th game - loser of the 1st game vs loser of the 2nd game
5th game - loser of the 3rd game vs winner of the 4th game - (the winner advances)

Surprisingly not Idra[Media] who lives and trains in Korea inside the Korea, South eStro team house went home as the winner but MYM star MYM.DinoT. America's biggest hope disappointed his fans and was almost knocked out in the playoff match by nT.HanniGan. In this shape he can not be considered as one of the favorites of this tourney although he sees himself in a good position.

This is another hard blow for the Russian community. The former MYM/ESL Koth 3D.Notforu one of the most known Russian players is out of this tourney. Maybe it is time for a new Russian star: fuSion.Rondo. He played very good PvZ games although his PvP games against the solid and unfailing favorite MYM.White-Ra could be improved.

What an amazing performance by RoX.BRAT_OK. Is he the new Russian terran star after RoX.Advokate and RoX.EX being eliminated? He beat the favorite of this group Excello.Nony who did not disappoint and played dominant protoss vs protoss matches against ToT)Infernal(.

What a disappointment for the Russian Starcraft fans! One of the favorites, RoX.Advokate is knocked out in the group stage by MYM.Dreiven in three good games full of tension.

Once again Idra proofed that he is not as talented as he and some americans think. Dreiven really impressed me cause he must have been under pressure losing first game due to wo.

but concerning Idra, you have to keep in mind at which time he has to play, its very late for him and after a whole day of practice he`s probably exhausted
