Group F Results

osl

Group F definitely had a flavor of its own. First of all, a great set of match-ups made all the viewers stick until the end in front of their computers. Besides BestGod, a STX SouL Protoss player who barely tasted the spotlight of live broadcasted matches, the group itself consists of some players with a decent amount of skill to say the least. Luxury and Rock might look as the winners here but let's see if the results will agree with us on this one:

Zerg Yellow[ArnC] and Protoss Rock in advance

Protoss Rock > Terran UpMagiC
UpMagic hasn't been showing some great results lately and now steps up against an above-average Protoss player whose best match-up is PvT. No matter how you look at this, it's obvious that the eSTRO Terran player is in trouble and this is just what happened.

Zerg Yellow[ArnC] > Protoss BestGod
OGN's YellOw was basically missing in action recently and everyone was wondering if he still is up to something. His ZvT is where he truly shines, and since ZvP is far from being his match-up, this was supposed to be a tough match, even if his opponent is the new face called BestGod. Well, YellOw[ArnC] still has it and his ZvP seems better than before. Did he hide to train this match-up? Highly probable.

Zerg Yellow[ArnC] > Protoss Rock
This was without a soubt the most anticipated match of Group F. Seeing as how none of them is a specialist when it comes to this match-up, anything could happen. However, YellOw[ArnC] seemed to want the victory more than his opponent and this is exactly what happened. Fake YellOw with a good ZvP? Didn't hope we would say this pretty soon.

Protoss Rock > Protoss BestGod
The only mirror match-up that we could see today was the tiebreak between these 2 Protoss players. They both knew that failure is not an option, but apparently Rock works well under pressure, as he was the one to get the second seed in this group by defeating BestGod. His road ahead seems bumpy but he still hasn't shown his full potential.
