Group E Results

The EVER OSL Group E matches have just been played and with the big names like terran Sea and terran XellOs, we would have expected a rather easy going. Well, guess what? You're wrong. These 2 Terran machines kind of malfunctioned in front of the 2 Protoss Executors with less notoriety, JangBi and Daezang.

Tiebreak
terran Sea[Shield] > Protoss Daezang Troy
Protoss Jangbi and terran Sea[Shield] in advance

terran Sea > Protoss Daezang
The outcome of the first match did not represent a surprise to us OSL viewers, as Sea was the clear favorite here. Daezang did manage to put up a fight, but the young MBC Terran player was more than he could chew.

Protoss Jangbi > terran XellOs
The second set featured the Perfect Terran XellOs up against what might be called a rising Protoss, aka. Jangbi. This was the chance that XellOs was probably waiting for, in order to show the audience he still has some skill there, but his mistakes cost him the game, as Jangbi knew how to exploit those mistakes and make his way toward the victory that many did not see happening.

Protoss Jangbi > terran Sea
The winner bracket was Jangbi's opportunity to prove himself, and he didn't think twice: even though Sea was considered above him, this Samsung KHAN Protoss player was the one shining again. This was a rather unexpected upset for the Sea fans, who probably hoped he would cruise through the group matches.

Protoss Daezang > terran XellOs
If Sea disappointed his fans, why wouldn't XellOs do the same? It's not enough that his recent games have been less than impressive, now he lost all his group matches. If even Daezang defeats you, it's time to rethink your strategies, Perfect Terran.

terran Sea > Protoss Daezang
This last game created a tiebreak between Sea and Daezang, so all all the people cheering him must have been relieved. Should this have been between XellOs, things might have turned out different. However, Sea had no problems and defeated Daezang in what appears to have been a rather clear proof of superiority.
