I just don’t know where in this world you are. When I came to Wuhan, I had some troubles with my bags which could not be sent to Wuhan directly and so I had to check out in Shanghai and check in again, my flight took about 18 hours here. Duesseldorf – Amsterdam – Shanghai – Wuhan.

I'm an alien!

I would like to thank MYM and all sponsors (INTEL, XLBET, RAZER, SENNHEISER, QPAD) for giving me the chance to go to the ROTK event. I arrived here at like 1 pm and my Koreans were arriving at 17 (china time). I did not want to wait at the airport for them so I checked in the hotel already and made sure everything was working fine. After many communication problems, Tibo (ROTK Headmanager) helped with my problems and saved me from going crazy.

I had to pay some caution for the keycards we got, which was about 10 euro for each. So I arranged everything for MYM and SK, since I was already there and had a shitload of time. Well shitload is a bit too much to say, I had 1 hour to shower after that long flight and then went to pick up the Korean players again.

They arrived in time and we took taxis home and checked in. Went to eat some MC Donalds, which is Chinese May dau lau or something like that. But I got that only after a few days, since I was wondering why they never understand MC Donalds. Everything went really smooth, but we did not have that much time, so we decided to get some quick food and search for Moon some new shampoo and lotions.

Back in the hotel we had a meeting with sgamers who made a quick video interview with all teams, and in the end we had to shout something like “SGamers rocks and we love Warcraft”, but we messed it up like 6 times, have to admit that I messed it up once too. Haha, still funny.
After that we went to sleep and the next day was off. My alarm clock was ringing at 6:30 since I forgot to switch it off. Reis told me that it was really loud for 15 minutes and that I was sleeping like a baby and so he had to switch off the alarm. Sorry reis!

At the hotel in Wuhan

We just chilled a bit and Grubby and Cass arrived at like 12 in the hotel together with Wind and Crow. They had a better room than the rest of the players, so reis and me decided to change the room to have at least internet. I could chose: internet or better aircon. We decided to take the internet in this case. Moon also decided himself for internet so we moved to the other rooms, the other players were ok with having no inet in their rooms. In the evening we had that group drawings where we had to get our groups. With mousesports, SK Gaming and wNv we had a really hard group to manage.

Next day we had to wake up pretty early since the shuttle bus was leaving at 8.45 but our first game was at like 3 pm, some misunderstanding and some things caused the delay, after that nice grubby allkill in the end saved our day and we went home with 1 point. Next day was supposed to have two matches, first versus wNv and then versus mouz.

That is why we took the war vs wNv so serious, since it was a single elimination tournament and we did not want to face World Elite so fast. At least I did not want that, I am sorry about the long discussions and I am sorry about that delay wNv and MYM caused. But there were some problems with the rules (Chinese and English version did not match). But we had to fear this fact from the start and so after this problem we lost to wNv, which was really bad for our ranking position.

After that we had the deciding match versus mousesports and there our nerves were really doing what they wanted. Susiria won in the end in an incredible game. Thanks to the whole team, that was really a good performance.

It was already 11 pm when we went home and new the next day was the clan war versus World Elite, it was not that we played bad versus them but this TeD, was so strong. I have to admit that this was an incredible show by him. I gave him the hand after the game and said: “TeD you are soo imba, good job and congratulations” I also said this to King, Sky, Infi and Hotlips.
We had only the chance to get 3rd or 4th rank now, I tried to keep the motivation up and Moon was really eger to take home the win, I never saw him so confident. When I talked to him in person in his room he said: I WANT TO WIN.

So he did, after we tricked fnatic with our lineup:

They were forced to use a card, since they expected undeads to be first. Shy was already asking me: Why this lineup? *hehe* but it went well. They used the 2v2 and hoped to kick out Moon of the tournament (at least for once, since there was still a reseraction card). Moon and Grubby wanted to play and talked about strategies and we took the win after a close match. Then FoCuS was out and they used phaseshift on Shy with Minyhuk, also this one was a really good game. Moon took the win and they used the card to revive Shy, but this one was also a win. Minyhuk came then and fnatic wanted to use the Charm card (decide the map). But we antimagicshield it, so it was a normal map veto by the teams. In the last game we used 2v2 card versus space, which we knew could be a decider since the 2v2 with space is not sooo strong as the other one. 5-0 Moon finished this clan war with a good score.

In the end it was well played, our mistake was just that we lost to wNv in the groupstage, we were just not allowed to do it. But WC3L finals coming up soon and I hope that MYM will get the first rank. We went to clubbing after the price ceremony with all the players. Moon had to leave with Sky to Hainan for the Olympic torch in the evening.

It was a really successful clubbing night and all the players looked like they were superstars, in expensive cloth and super elegant. In the morning we all missed our flights due to a bit oversleeping and due to the rain, which destroyed us going to the airport fast. You already saw the video with Crow and Wind showing the pics. Streets changed to Rivers and trees were on the streets, many cars also broke down.

Going back home; Wuhan airport

Me for myself I am now at home and being super tired. We already had a clan war versus PGS which we were able to win 4-2. Home feels good, the bed is soft and the nature is green. I had a lot of fun in China. Even in the last evening I went with Sgamers to print my ticket and then we went to an European restaurant which had good food. We ate a lot and then we went playing some 2v2 in a netbar. Which FrostBite and me won with a clear 3-0 after that we played some counter - Strike but we got raped. First it was running ok on dust2 but then on a small aim_map we had 0 chance. At like 11 pm we went home and I fear to miss miy flight again, started chatting a bit and went out of the hotel at 2 pm, was soo tired and I did not know where to go, so I had a great massage in the last hours before my flight and went home packing my things. At the check out the reception tried to trick me and wanted to charge me for the minibar ( WHICH WAS LOCKED ) 700 RMB.... which is around 70 EUR. Pretty unfair, but after 45 minutes of discussing and me getting really angry I finally got my money back.
