Flashy`s blog #2

Today is the last day of SEC and EM. But before i am going to talk about today, i will focus on yesterday's evening first.

After Grubby lost to Hot 2-0 after two really exciting matches the1crow, the BET wc3 manager quiZZ and I decided to have dinner at MC Donald's. It was a very late so we were one of the last persons at the cebit area. Most of the doors were already closed so we had to find a way out. We finally managed to get out by using a fire escape. Mission accomplished? No, because our car was somewhere else...But after almost two hours we finally found it and the way to MC Donald's as well. I have never slept that deep like last night before.

Well, while we were arriving this morning ToD already played versus Hot. So far Hot is leading 1-0, he is in a really really good shape. The MYM Counter-Strike team plays simultaneously their SEC match versus fnatic representing team Sweden. The teams are sitting next to each other and always try to be louder than their opponents. A lot of cameras and people are standing around both teams. There atmosphere is like a mixture of aggressiveness and jumpiness.

MYM facing fnatic

Today is the first day I see Tod smiling. I guess its because he managed to beat his opponent Grubby in Extreme Masters. In the meantime practices Hot a lot, and with SaSe. Its quite funny to watch them playing random, although i am a little bit scared of him. I guess i am not alone with that fear because everyone is sitting behind SaSe watching the matches, while Hot is sitting alone.

After that i went to the Intel Area to watch Tod vs. Lyn. The French player won the first best of three with 2-1. The fourth map had to be repeated because the admins hosted the game with the old version of Gnoll Wood which did not include a tavern to buy neutral Heroes and has different creeping routes. Luckily Tod realized that only a few seconds after the game begun so it did not matter at all!

Three exciting matches later the winner was determined. Congratulations to Lyn!. It seemed that Lyn was much more nervous than his opponent but he won nonetheless. In comparison to the EM Finals the SEC Finals took place at the huge samsung area.

Once again the players hat to sit in the player boxes on stage. But not only ToD seemed to be happy today. At least till his final match. Hot won versus the Swedish player 4:0 and is the winner of the SEC 2008, congratulation as well!! Maybe he wont hit me now if I try again to get a photo from him.

So all Wacraft 3 matches are over and I will be leaving soon. Hopefully i will find the way out of the cebit and get my train in time!
