| What can we say, roccat are by far the best team in Finland, after finishing 3rd in the NGL-One League they truly deserve to be in the finals where they will face the Swedish Counter-Strike team of fnatic. With a tie game against Gravitas Gaming on the map de_train and a 4-16 lose against mousesports on de_nuke, the Finns were not that good in the beginning of the season. However, at the end of the season, they showed their skills and proved that they are not bad by beating the Danish teams of wooSai and mTw.PokerRoom both on a 16-2 score. Overall the team won 5 of their matches which give them the same amount of points as mousesports, 16. roccat had a good run in the NGL having some close matches against some very good teams, but they lost hard against each of the other final teams: 8-16 vs aTTaX, 4-16 vs mousesports and 9-16 vs fnatic. So unless they can give 100% of themselves in the finals, and pull off something very good, the Finnish players will have a hard time at the event, with their first game being on a yet unknown map against the first ranked team in the World according to ZoneRank, fnatic. Team captain, Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen had this to say: "We haven't had much luck vs fnatic since the NGL ONE 2006/2007 Finals, but hopefully we can turn this around here and win the important first game in upper bracket. Should be a great game as always vs fnatic, really looking forward to it." | ||||||||
