imo since there are 61 countries registered to prime nations, get rid of hongkong, and make it 60 countries... hongkong is not a country just like california is not a country... and then we can have like 10 groups of 6 countries or 12 groups of 5 countries or something like that actually, i guess they're probably going for a bracket of 64 now that i think about it which would mean 8 groups of 8 countries with 2 seeded teams per group Last edited by Fierce at 21.01.2008, 22:20

Admins no offense but do you know your geography? Hong Kong is a city not a country a city in CHINA. If Hong Kong is considered a country then can USA have state teams or other coutries have province teams? This isnt fair and should be dealt with unless you admins show proof that Hong Kong has been named an offical country i.e has a seat in UN or accouncement made by China regarding the issue than this is wrong.

Hong Kong has only been part of China in the last ~10 years! If it was still part of British territory, should I have registered as a UK team? The only difference now is that it is considered ultimately under Chinese government. Besides, if you were to go take a trip to Hong Kong AND China, you need to get TWO different VISAs, one per region! That means you can be DENIED access to China yet still be able to go to Hong Kong. This wouldn't apply to the states in the USA because you don't need to have a different VISA per state- only ONE VISA to the USA allows you to travel to any state! Also even the OLYMPICS recognizes a Hong Kong team separately from China!! Surely the International Olympic Committee rules are good enough?
