The second edition of MYM Prime Nations

Following the very succesful MYM Prime Defending series which caused numerous great events in the Dota community, MYM presents their second edition of the new league format in which the best players of DotA countries face each other for the crown!

Tournament Format

Game Version : DotA Allstars v6.48b -XL mode
Banned Heroes: Storm Spirit, Templar Assassin, Sacred Warrior, Faerie Dragon, Dark Seer, Pit Lord, Undying, Geomancer

* 16 teams will be seeded from the first edition of MYM Prime Nations. The seeded teams will play directly in the Groupstage.
* there will be a qualifier for other nations that want to participate.

The qualifier stage:
* match format: best out of 1, single elimination
* 8 teams will advance from the qualifier stage to the group stage.

The group stage:
* match format: best out of 1, single elimination
* there will be groups made with the seeds + qualifier winners.
* each group will contain 4 or 5 teams.
* top 2 placed teams from each group advances to the playoff stage.

The playoff stage:
* match format: best out of 3, double elimination

Prizes

1000 Euro for the winning country
3 Months CLUB MYM for 10 players

500 Euro for the second placed country
1 Month CLUB MYM for 10 players

250 Euro for the third placed country
1 Week CLUB MYM for 10 players

You want to know how your nation is doing in this tournament. You want to have more than just the result?

In an effort to develop pro-gaming journalism along with dota, we will offer shoutcast, and / or live broadcast of some games, in different language (English and French), serious shoutcasters from other countries should contact us, and also game reports!

Meeting Place

All teams must meet up in the channel #MYM.Nations on IRC Quakenet.

IRC is necessary since there are so many teams, and there is not room for so many people on a Battle.net channel, so make sure that you get IRC working before the tournament.
Also you must remember to stay on IRC at all times, so we can keep in contact. If a team stops responding on IRC then it may recieve a default loss.

The GG Game Client is mandatory for this tournament. The channel for this tournament on the GG Game Client is called MYM Prime Nations Room and can be found under Leagues and Tournaments / War3 TFT RPG.

Ok, i wanna ask something.. I live in Denmark and my dad is from Denmark, but i've lived in Norway before and my mom is from Norway so can i choose which nation i want to play for or can i only play for the nation which i currently live in?

I asume its cos they are "new" heroes, and IceFrog prefer not to play them on leagues and tournaments, cos they arent totaly balanced.
