General

• Competition Method: 5 v 5
• Tournament structure :

  • Group stage : 2 Games (one side each, draw is POSSIBLE)
  • Playoffs : Double Elimination Best of 3
  • Overall Finals : Best of 3

• Match Length: Until a winner is decided
• Match Winner: A match is won if the opponents ancient is destroyed, or if two or more members of the opposing team leave the game.
• During the whole tournament GG-Client is obligatory. The mandatory GG Client room of this tournament is the Leagues and Tournaments / War3 TFT RPG / MYM Prime Nations room.
• Hamachi or Battle.Net are optional - in case both teams agree. If a team does not have GG-Client, then the team with GG-Client has server advantage and may decide who hosts the game.
• Act mature and mannered both ingame and in the chat channels. Offending the administraton and/or participants of this tournament will result in punishments and might lead to a complete ban from the tournament and/or website.

Teams and Players

A team must attend with maximum of 10 players in the team roster of the same nationality, including the captain..
• All players have to be signed up on meetyourmakers.com, and must be added to the team roster to be able to play.
• This list of players is final and can't be changed for the duration of the tournament.
Each captain has to create a team on the MYM Site for the attending country, with the country name included in the team name.

A player is bound to one team throughout the whole tournament period. Playing for other teams will result in severe punishment both to the player and the teams.
Each team can have as many clan members selected per country as they want within the 10 player limit, but no more than three clan members can play simultaneously.
The nations that will forfeit their match will be excluded from further tournaments.
• Each playday will last a week. We for sure expect teams to play by default date: a team of 10 players should be flexible enough to get 5 people present simultaneously. This should be selection criteria for the captains when they are creating their team. If your top 5 is not present at default date, it might be the same case for the other team. So with 10 players on each teams, match have to be played on time.
• If a player is found to be on several rosters, he has to inform an admin of which team he will play for before the tournament start. Failing to do so can result in a ban of the player from the tournament.
• The account name of a player here on the homepage has to be similar to that used ingame (e.g. "John Doe" on meetyourmakers.com may not play as "Shadow Master" on battlenet, but may play as "-]John[-Doe")
• All players must be named uniform ingame, meaning that an identical clan tag must be worn by all members, and must be placed at the same place in the nickname. Examples:

BRAD]Player1, BRAD]PlAY3r2, BRAD]PLAYER3 etc...
Play[OcR]er1, PlAY[OcR]3r2, PLAY[OcR]ER3 etc...
Player1-QQT, PlAY3r2-QQT, PLAYER3-QQT etc...

Game Settings

• Game Mode: Extended League Mode. (-xl mode will be typed in-game)

Both teams will meet up at IRC / GGC channel / In Game Chat before the drafting takes place. Both teams will be allowed to take out up to 3 heroes from the pool of heroes before drafting starts. This will work based on a 1-1-1-1-1-1 format. Teams can choose to stop taking out heroes before the maximum 3 heroes limit and their turn to take out the heroes will be void.

  1. Team one will take out / skip the chance : 1 hero
  2. Team two will take out / skip the chance : 1 hero
  3. Team one will take out / skip the chance : 1 hero
  4. Team two will take out / skip the chance : 1 hero
  5. Team one will take out / skip the chance : 1 hero
  6. Team two will take out / skip the chance : 1 hero
A maximum of (but may not up to) 6 heroes can be taken out before the drafting session happens. After the taking out draft finishes , teams will proceed to pick the heroes for the game.

• Picking heroes: 122221

  1. Team one will pick: 1 hero
  2. Team two will pick: 2 heroes
  3. Team one will pick: 2 heroes
  4. Team two will pick: 2 heroes
  5. Team one will pick: 2 heroes
  6. Team two will pick: 1 hero

• Both team leaders have to agree to the schedule and must be avaiable at those days/times.

• Even if you remove heroes before starting the game, if you write -ap, you can't pick Shadow Priest / Geomancer.

Bugs and restrictions

• The use of a bug may result in a default loss
• Creep skipping is not allowed, meaning you may not attack the enemies building without creep support. If you reached the building with creeps you are though allowed to continue attacking it even if the creeps are killed. If you reached the opponents base together with allied creeps, you may attack all buildings, and you do not have to cancel your attack if your creeps have been killed.

• Each team may only have two Mekansm
• Each team may only have two Necronomicon
• Each team may only have one Refresher Orb
• Each team may only have one Arcane Ring
• Each team may only have one Aegis of the Immortal per hero
• Each team may only have in total either

  • two Eul's Scepter of Divinity OR
  • two Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse OR
  • one Eul's Scepter of Divinity and one Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse

• It is not allowed to buy items for other players on your team with exception of the following items which may not be sold if transferred:

  • Clarity Potion
  • Tango of Essifation
  • Observer Wards
  • Sentry Wards
  • Scroll of Town Portal
  • Flask of Sapphire Water
  • Gem of Truesight
  • Aegis of the Immortal
  • Cheese

• The following items may be shared, but must be returned to its owner in timely manner:

  • Ring of Health
  • Ring of Regeneration
  • Void Stone
  • Sobi Mask
  • Perservence
  • Chickens

• It is allowed to share unitcontrol to purchase items, as long as the item is delivered immediately to the player who paid for it
• Items which are dropped from a kill or chicken may be picked up by any player, and the item is now considered his.
• It is not allowed to purposefully suicide to drop an item for another player
• It is not allowed to block creeps with the help of spells, such as fissure, sprout etc. it is only allowed to use the hero model to intercept with creeps

Disconnections

• Teams are persuaded to save their games frequently during a match in order to compensate for disconnects
• Disconnect before a hero has been killed: match restart
• Disconnect after a hero has been killed: If a savegame has been made within the last 15 minutes, then consult the rule below. If not then the game continues without the disconnected player.
• If team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2 during the period of the last savegame and the disconnection, then the disconnect is in the favour of team 1. For example:

- At the time of the savegame the score is 35-35
- At the time of the disconnection the score is 42-37 for team 1
- Since team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2, team 1 may now chose wether to continue the match or remake from the savegame.

• A tower counts for 3 kills when calculating this, an Aegis counts for ½ a kill rounding down, a rax counts for 5 kills.
• The teams must save game right after first blood
• If neither team is in advantage then an admin should be consulted, unless teams can agree to a decision by themselves.
• After a remake all players have to pick the same heros as before, and must go to the same starting lane. On initial creep contact, the players may change lane
• If the same player disconnects more than 3 times, then the opposing team may chose to continue the match without him.
• It is allowed to use a disconnected hero, but it is not allowed to give his items to other players. The items may either stay on the disconnected hero, or be sold so the money is dispersed among the remaining players.

Before and after games

• Teams should if possible try and find a neutral host suitable for both teams. Make sure that you test the host for lag before the game commences.
• One team is Sentinel side and the other team gets to choose who has first pick. If the teams are not able chose who is what, you can ask an admin for a cointoss.
• If a host has been decided upon, the entire match will be finished with that host, unless both teams agree to change.
• If the teams cannot agree upon a host then the host will be decided by a coinflip conducted by an admin.
• If a team is not available at the scheduled time you have to atleast wait 20 minutes before requesting a default win. To request a default win you have to speak with an admin who will look into the case. Admins will rule on fairplay, by trying to help getting in touch with the opponent and rather letting a match start late than giving a forfeit win. However the fairplay ruling is not a privilege to any team, and is based solely the admins decision.
• In the case of a missing player the opponent has to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to give the other team the chance to reach him. Afterwards they may chose to claim a forfeit win, or they can play the match 4on5 or 4on4. A team may never play a match with less than 4 players. Fairplay might overrule unfair decisions ( in case a far stronger team is being forced to forfeit instead of playing 4on5 by a far weaker team ).
• It is mandatory to save replays after each game by both teams! Failing in doing so will result in a warning and/or removal from the tournament.
After a match has been finished, the winning team must report the result to an admin, and send all replays to: mymnations@gmail.com
• If the the game is loaded from a saved game then the replay can be found in the Warcraft 3 replay folder as "LastReplay.w3g".

Discussions

If a problem arises, then the teamleaders, or one designated player representing the teamleader will solve the problem together with the administration of the tournament. This counts as well for Coin Flips.

Administration

The administration is there to plan, guarantee and maintain a fair run of the tournament. In case of a dispute, the administration will take the case with both teamleaders.

The tournament administration will always act in the interest of the tournament, fairplay, the players and the spectators. The goal is to prevent default losses and guarantee an exciting tournament for everybody. However the rulings will be strict depending on the intentions and behaviors of the teams involved in a dispute.

Before decisions are being made the administration will sit back and hold a discussion in private. The admins will not discuss decisions in public with players and spectators except through official announcements. Official announcements will always include the reasoning and the thoughts behind a decision.

Currently the administration consists of :

  • Denmark Army ( Head Admin )
  • France season ( Tournament organizer )
  • France Fatalerror (Match admin and newser)
  • France Sserenity (Match admin and newser)
  • Romania Snake ( Match Admin )

  • Greece epic_ ( Trial Admin )
  • Pakistan strongbadia ( Trial Admin )
  • Malaysia underminer ( Trial Admin )
  • United State- Rumb1e ( Trial Admin )

The administration can be reached in the #mym.nations IRC channel on QuakeNet which is accesable to everybody. The internal channel for players and team captains is #mym.nations.players. Furthermore you can contact the administration through the MYM message system.

Please keep in mind that the admins of this tournament are working on a voluntary basis. Abusive and disrespectful behavior towards admins and other participants will be punished with all severity.

• Intentional use of game bugs or cheats will result in a BAN!
• Attempts at fooling an admin will result in a BAN!
• The use of unrostered players will result in removal from the tournament. Several offences by the same player will result in a BAN!
• Unintentional breaking of the rules stated under “Bugs and restrictions” will result in a warning the first time, second time offenders will be removed from the tournament.
• It is not allowed to make changes to the rules even if agreeing with your opponent. If in doubt consult an admin.
