September, 11th: Fenix vs Goody
The MYM KOTH powered by GIGA 2 will continue this week with the current King, hail to 
xLo.Fenix! This young and high talented guy from Peru who will also represent his country in this years WCG Finals in the US and A, was able to claim the close 3-2 victory over the Dreamhack Summer 2007 winner DatobY from the Swedish team Qpad/NaW.
But this week Fenix has to proof his skill once again since 
DkH.Goody aims for the Hill too. Yes, of course, you all know this great player from Germany who recently hit the headlines when he showed an unexpected run in the WCG Germany. After he took down some of Germany's finest StarCraft guyss, only Breakdown was able to stop him and Goody finished on rank three and will go to the WCG Finals now!
Goody is in shape, he is prepared - can Fenix keep standing on the Hill? We will see some great matches from two WCG 2007 Grand Final attenders!

As it was with the previous match, this round of MYM KOTH powered by GIGA 2 will be held in a best of 5 battle, as well. The battle will take place on September, 11th at 21 CET. Watch live on GIGA 2.

Last week some sad news was published:
After nearly 18 months of streaming, the broadcast station GIGA2 will shut down their program and discontinues streaming at November, 15th. But that's not the end of the story, ESL-TV will start coeval and replace GIGA2. (...)

Since the StarCraft community is always wary like a watch-dog and the first people asked me already about the future of the MeetYourMakers King of the Hill powered by GIGA 2, I decided to give a public answer. For now I can say that the MYM KOTH developed as a quite interesting and successful weekly BroodWar event with some of the best non-Korean players participated. We will anyhow continue this event in the future. At the moment we cannot say if the collaboration with GIGA will and can be buoyed up or not or if even a new cooperation with ESL-TV will establish or not. We will sort out this issue with those responsible next week.
