Rules

  

For players who participated in the earlier Prime Defending tournaments, changes to the rules has been marked in bold

Game Version : DotA Allstars v6.37

General

• Competition Method: 5 v 5
Initial group stage: 2 -lm games vs each opponent, 1 as scourge, 1 as sentinel
• Playoffs: Single elimination - Best of 3, 3rd game -ap
• Match Length: Until a winner has been determined
• Match Winner: A match is won if the opponents ancient is destroyed.
GG Client is required in all matches!
If an admin or shoutcaster wishes to obs a game then the teams have to let him do so
• Act mature and mannered both ingame and in the chat channels, severe offenders may be banned on a decision by the admins


Teams

• A team must minimum have 5 players in the team roster
• All players has to be signed up on meetyourmakers.com, and must be added to the team roster to be able to play
• The accountname of a player here on the homepage has to be similar to that used ingame (fx. "John Doe" on meetyourmakers.com may not play as "Shadow Master" on battlenet, but may play as "-]John[-Doe")
• All players must be named uniform ingame, meaning that an identical clan tag must be worn by all members, and must be placed at the same place in the nickname. Examples:

BRAD]Player1, BRAD]PlAY3r2, BRAD]PLAYER3 etc...
Play[OcR]er1, PlAY[OcR]3r2, PLAY[OcR]ER3 etc...
Player1-QQT, PlAY3r2-QQT, PLAYER3-QQT etc...


Game Settings

Game Mode: -lm (1 side as Sentinel, 1 side as Scourge)
Playoff draw: If a winner has not been found after the first two games, then a third game will be played in -ap mode. Heros will be chosen in turn in the chat beforehand. The team who won their pick game the fastest, will either choose who picks the first hero, or choose side. Once it has been announced which of the two they want, it cannot be changed.
• Picking heroes: 122221
Team one will pick: 1 hero
Team two will pick: 2 heroes
Team one will pick: 2 heroes
Team two will pick: 2 heroes
Team one will pick: 2 heroes
Team two will pick: 1 hero


Bugs and restrictions

• The use of a bug may result in a default loss
• Creep skipping is not allowed, meaning you may not attack the enemies building without friendly creep support. If you reached the building with creeps you are though allowed to continue attacking it even if the creeps are killed. If you reached the opponents base together with allied creeps, you may attack all buildings, and you do not have to cancel your attack if your creeps have been killed.
• Each team may only have two Mekanism
• Each team may only have two Necronomicon
• Each team may only have one Refresher Orb
• Each team may only have two Eul's Scepter of Divinity & Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse total. Meaning either two of one kind, two of the other kind or one of each.
• It is not allowed to buy items for other players on your team. An exception to this is healing/clarity potions including tangos, observer/sentry wards, gem of truesight, scroll of town portal & flask of sapphire water. The following items may be shared: Ring of Health, Ring of Regeneration, Voidstone, Sobimask, Perservence and Chickens.
• It is allowed to share unitcontrol to purchase items, as long as the item is delivered immediately to the player who paid for it.
Items dropped by enemy chickens may only be used by the player picking it up
It is not allowed to purposefully suiciding to transfer rapier
It is not allowed to use Alchemist & Warlock
It is not allowed to block creeps with the use of spells, such as fissure, sprout etc. You may only block creeps by physically intercepting them with your hero model only.


Disconnections

Teams must save games every 15 min and after firstblood, and are persuaded to save after big fights and towerkills to compensate for disconnects
• Disconnect before a hero has been killed: match restart
• Disconnect after a hero has been killed: If a savegame has been made within the last 15 minutes, then consult the rule below. If not then the game continues without the disconnected player.
• If team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2 during the period of the last savegame and the disconnection, then the disconnect is in the favour of team 1. For example:
- At the time of the savegame the score is 35-35
- At the time of the disconnection the score is 42-37 for team 1
- Since team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2, team 1 may now chose wether to continue the match or remake from the savegame. Towers count for 3 kills when calculating this. If neither team is in advantage and they cannot come to an agreement, then an admin must be contacted to decide upon the matter.
- Right after firstblood, if no other kills have been made, the team who made firstblood has the advantage

• After a remake all players have to pick the same heros as before, and must go to the same starting lane. On initial creep contact, the players may change lane.
• If the same player disconnects more than 3 times, then the opposing team may chose to continue the match without him.
• It is allowed to use a disconnected player, but it is not allowed to give his items to other players. The items may either stay on the disconnected hero, or be teamsold so the money is dispersed among the remaining players.


Before and after games

• If a host has been decided upon, the entire match will be finished with that host, unless both teams agree to change
• If the teams cannot agree upon a host then each team will host one game, and in this case, it will be the Scourge side hosting. The last host will be decided by a coinflip conducted by an admin
• In the case of a missing player the opponent may chose to claim a forfeit win, or they can play the match 4on5 or 4on4. A team may never start a match with less than 4 players.
• A replay HAS to be saved after each game by both teams, and named PRIDEX_TEAM1_TEAM2_GAME#, this is both for the pleasure of the public, aswell as cheat prevention. If a game has been save/loaded then the LastReplay.w3g file, found in the replay folder must be renamed when the match is done, even if the game only lasted 5 min.
Screenshots must be taken at the end of a game as proof of victory
• After a match has been finished, the winning team must report the result to an admin, and send all replays & screenshots to: mYmtour@gmail.com


Discussions

If a problem arises, then the teamleaders, and the teamleaders alone will solve the problem together with an admin, also such stuff as coin flips for hosts. We cannot have 10 people from different teams messaging us about the same problem.

THIS MEANS THAT ONLY TEAM LEADERS ARE ALLOWED TO MESSAGE THE ADMINS.


Intentional use of game bugs or cheats will result in a BAN!

can u restrict radiance on the spiritbear?
when it dies the radiance effect will stay a t the point of death for the whole game and i think this is unfair.

Uhm i had it restricted actually, but was told that the bug where the effect stays, only happens very rarely. So if it only happens very rarely then i dont see a reason to have it restricted

the effect is only there when spirit bear dies!

means: the bear has radiance and dies! when he is alive again there will be no effect, but when he dies again, on all spots where he died while he had radiance will be the effect.

and that every time! it is really annoying when you just killed sylla and he farms though cause he gets kills with that and even pushes creeps back!

so pls restrict it! i also please you to restrict refresher orb! there are some heros that just have a too string ultimate with refresher

Don't restrict it, that radiance is too much of an effective item on the syllabear and this 1 drawback shouldnt be used to disable him from getting it. I seen it happen before and it didnt make any noticeable game difference.

Also refresher doesnt need restriction, we arnt playing 584c or somthing you know, nowadays its usually a bad item anyway.

To #1: If someone is doing it on purpose, we can take care of the issue from the admin side. It's not worth restricting one of the best builds for the hero to try and avoid a fairly rare bug.

My comment is about GGC. Some players (like me) are playing on Mac ... and GGC doesn't work on Mac. So do we have to buy a PC or to stay away from the game ?
I need more space :(

I don't know or sure but they are prolly the same. Noone loves mac users.... I'll find a way to GGC then ... Maybe :(

All ways of playing is allowed, but GGC is default, the others are only allowed if both teams agree

Battle.lan can work in conjunction with GGC (as in if someone hosts on GGC u just get their ip add it to the program, run it and then start up wc3 go to local games and play!)

hamachi can be used together with ggc too
the host needs to join a hamachi network but start the game via GGC
its a nice thing i guess
