This team didnt make you sit around, anymore than u made them sit around. I do not wish to judge any team for having a player use a wrong nick in a 2 min forfeit game, and giving them a loss over something like that would just have been plain lame... Thats why i only wanted to judge for 3rd game, and you knew about it there, you should contact me about it if they deny, or else its like accepting that they can play with him. I allow teams to agree with eachother on allot of different stuff in this tournament, so not contacting me is like allowing them to do it... And using a wrong nickname is not very severe, it would probably have gotten them a warning at max anyway... Offenders are judged differently on basis of the severeness of the rulebreaking. Whilst i understand what ur saying tazz on that point u must realise that is open to abuse.. why wouldnt they always TRY to use a better unregistered player just incase the other team doesnt say nething and see the list of stuff that uguypro said so many times they tried to cheat... Uhm because they coulda just had that player on the roster from the start... if he is a friend of them, then why shouldnt he be on their roster anyway. I dont think in many cases players would bother to sign up a roster and then have someone fakenick to play with them afterwards, when he could just be added beforehand, doesnt matter if he is their clan in other leagues. You played fairly and played on our host like we did yours when we were both lagging. But you didnt need to irc me after the supposed games saying that you are better etc etc and posting on these boards calling us noobs when you were outplayed on your own hosting until the lag spikes happened. Also what do towers matter when you are going to lose anyway? Silencer with 40 minute guinsoo midas meka BoT and ogre axe is pretty gg compared to a double vanguard visage who got ganked about 3-4 times. Digitall - may we have the replay please we'd really like to see it

Hm visage had double vanguard + mess.reaver and i really think thats alot better than your guinsoo+mekansm silencer. infact i don't accuse you for anything, neither blame you... admins are guilty for the situation. i just say, that i think we are alot better - it is my own opinion. and i will give the replay to be uploaded. it was a nice game till some moments. Ye your right digitall.. we are guilty that GGC is not working on the day of the tournament, we are guilty that there is lag between Australia and Bulgaria, we should really have made a better internet connection for you, i am really sorry we didnt invent something like that. Get it into your head... your playing in a mixed qualifier, with people from all over the world... you knew that before entering. The fact that you dont like it, and then flame admins for it is just... Jerm, I didn't accuse them of intentionally lagging us. Just look at my post for our 'official' point of view. P.S Spit-Wad. I'll tell you the three key points we disagree with tazz. 1 - I believe the language he used meant that we had to forfeit first game, which was not the case, because later on he said we didnt have to forfeit. But we disagree on what was communicated at this point. 2 - The coin toss, was done twice until the bulgarians won. There was no confusion, he just had to scroll up 5 lines to see we said tails first. Others where in the channel when this happenned. 3 - They used unrostered players, this was confirmed post-match, no action taken. it would be greatly appreciated if you could upload that replay digitall =) And Assassina we didn't lose overall so why feel sorry :( Oh and id like to thank Tazz for being so patient throughout this tournament. He did a good job and i'd imagine volunteering to stay up all night to tend to people whining and moaning all the time about problems he mostly had little control over (ie GGC, hosting disputes etc ) would be a tiresome job. There's no point in arguing over who had lag or not, so as well as Jerm and Vet, i would love for you guys to post the replay for everyone to see. And you may think that your tank Visage with something like +15 damage could own our whole team, but last time i checked not targetting the hero does the job if they can't do anything except damage return :)

What a Psychodrama, good job Tazz for the patiente. Mixed teams should be for mixed teams (teams with players living afar), or for Asian / Pacific Ocean team. Look at the brazilian team that signed, they are all in the American group So bulgarian, europeans and co, GO TO YOUR GROUP! GGC etc = bad, bad excuse.

it was a good game against cNc for the first 10-15min when monolake was hosting(1st game). unfortunately lag got progressively worse, we can blame ggc.. but its pathetic blaming a program in its beta stage. there was no other way to play "fair" games other than coin tossing.(both hosts unplayable) however, mixed quals are mixed quals... if there is a qualifier for the teams main region, they should really play there instead of coming to mixed quals and complaining about lag(just a general statement)

1)Exigent didn't sign up for mixed, they were placed in it. Do not speak without knowing the situation. 2)With the exception of the upcoming AotA/EMG match, it's been a free ride for almost every high level team. Exi. had to play against Zoxor's French team, who I am willing to wager is MORE than comparable to some of the teams other high level Euro and American teams have to had to face to get into finals. Actually Emperor, they included that they would go into the mixed qualifier if admins wanted them to. Exigent stated this, so they kind of did sign up for it. Whether you want to say its a free ride (I think so) or not is debatable, but do you think Exigent would have beating coL, verGe, x6 or Emg / AOTA? we told admin we would, but prefered not to, anyways i've played aota b4 and this french team we played in the first round was a lot better then them. harder then any of the teams the top americans have had to play already, so saying it was a free ride makes u a complete dumbass.

How am I bad mannered for stating things how I see it? And who are you to judge me and my manners when you call people 'bitching baby' and 'dumbass'. It seems pretty obvious to me that teams not considered, nor considering themselves for that matter, amongst the top candidates to qualify in their respective qualifier will sign for the mixed qualifier in an attempt to proceed to the finals using an easier option. Also what I like to call 'Strategic dodging'. Anyone having participated or followed the prior MYM PriDe's would know that the mixed qualifier often is the easiest one and this wasn't an exception. I'm pretty confident that the teams who DID have a qualifier for their respective region signed for the mixed inorder to actually have a chance at qualifying and that youre team meets an opponent who, according to you, can match alot of the American teams (I believe AotA was mentioned) eventhough they aren't even considered amongst Europe's 10 best teams is sheer bad luck (keeping in mind I believe you tried to dodge). That they outmatch any of the teams the current American qualified teams played isn't important. It wasn't the defeated American teams you tried dodging. It was those who qualified inwhich you didn't feel confident beating. This is how I see it and I believe a vast majority feels the same way. Last edited by Maelk at 11.10.2006, 21:21 no re

We said that we had no problem with being in the Mixed division, but we would prefer to be in the American one. We got placed by the admins in Mixed. There's nothing else to it. I was actually very impressed with the French team and it was in no way a 'free ride'. That's all there is to say. Get over yourselves.

Spit-wad, what you and your clanmate might have misunderstood is that I'm not pointing fingers at you in particular. I'm of the oppinion that anyone in this qualifier, who has a qualifier for their region, signed up for the mixed qualifier in hope of getting an easier way to reach the finals. That you and your team has been placed here is beyond me and that may very well be true. It might also be true that you've had the toughest first match than anyone in any of the qualifiers. That's all irrelevant though seeing as I questioned the intentions by signing up not wether or not it was a freeride looking back on things. HelloImbalance, what does my achievements has to do with anything (which, since you mention it, are beyond yours?). Am I not allowed to utter my oppinion on this matter? no re

Ok Jacob let's say I configured it a bit wrong, my point was, all the posts you have done seem to be with the only point to diminish other people's achievements like "free ride" and "dodging", which of course might be your opiniong but is pretty insultive towards others, who probably are not to be understimated and have chosen this qualis because of certain circumstanes? You know there are many, like better playtime, bigger chance of playing ggc and so over and so on. And since you mentioned, no nothing is far not beyond what I have behind me. HOMOFACE !

Not really partial to any of the teams. But it seems dissapointing that admins did not overturn a game where nicks weren't the same. Absolutely no way to show that teams weren't using ringers. The Euls example someone else brought up is the right one. Also trying to have a fake neutral host is the dirtyest thing imaginable and should also result in an auto forfeit. Techinically it is an exploit. From experience, I find its usually better to play out a game where you think there was cheating and then report to admins as oppose to just ending game or trying to stall and find an admin. Finally, I think mixed should have been done at a time convenient to Asia.
