Internet was down for one and a half days. Finally it's up and I can blog again! The internet here is not stable and very very slow, especially when the tournament is ongoing. It takes 1 to 5 minutes to load one page. I think it has to do with the amount of people tuning in to pplive, or maybe it's PGL using up all the bandwidth. In the early morning, before the tournament starts, the internet speed seem acceptable though.

suhO, Grubby, FoV and and LiKE out
In Step 2 of PGL tournament system, we see the departure of 2 players from Team C and 2 players from Team D. These two teams didn't do well in the team battles, so someone had to be punished! It's sad to see these four great players going out of the tournament, because it means there will be less great games to watch. Still, there are some interesting games out there. Personally, I enjoy watching Happy's games. His micro is really good and he makes nice surrounds. Let's hope he goes far into the tournament. :)

Finally we bought a heater as well! It's smart of HoT and White-RA to buy it already on their first day here. But as White-RA says, "It's better late than never!". We still have to survive about 2 more weeks here, with WC3L and Extreme Masters coming up, also in the same location. At least no more shivering with coldness in the hotel room for now. :)

For players, to get food isn't easy. If you ask PGL to order food for you, they can only order KFC. Fast food is not that healthy for progamers. For some progamers who want to eat more healthy, they have to walk out of the compound to eat in Chinese restaurants which are anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes away by walking. The past few days we have been eating in the same restaurant and got sick of it. So HoT, Grubby and me took a cab to go to a shopping mall where we found this Japanese restaurant from the chain "Ajisen-ramen". The food there is quite nice. I ordered Eel fried rice while HoT and Grubby ordered Katsu-don. I cook Katsu-don at home sometimes, so Grubby is familiar with it.

At night, it's not possible to find food at all when all the restaurants are closed. Once, Happy was hungry, so he walked out of the compound at 11pm in search for some food. Mission failed, so he came to our hotel room to ask for food. Luckily we always stock up food in our room because we knew we might get hungry at night sometimes. Grubby gave Happy some bread and jam, noodles, cookies and mandarin oranges. It's important that we all take care of each other, especially when we are together in foreign countries.

I also had a fish roe sushi roll.

Grubby is in the center-fold of the most popular/famous gaming magazine in China. A fan passed the magazine and poster to Grubby so it may get signed.
