HME is the biggest Multimedia event in Netherlands, and this year it was held in Utrecht on 27th - 30th Nov. ESL also had a booth there, where   Grubby and Sushilicious  played a showmatch on stage on the 29th Nov. Score ended up Grubby 2:1 Sushilicious , thus the audience got to watch 3 maps!

Now let us take a look at the ESL booth and atmosphere:

This commentator is a one-man-show. He hosts on stage, and commentates the matches by himself too. *applause to him*

ESL provides a lot of gaming PCs for people to try out different new games such as Call of Duty 5.

All the PCs were full at all times as you can see on this picture, and there also was a line of people waiting to use the PC. On the big screen you can see the showmatch is about to take place.

GameLux's first edition magazine has Grubby on the cover. The coverstory is "The Great Grubby", and inside you can read Zerter's article on Grubby. It's in Dutch though.. ;) Ask Zerter to translate if you guys really want to read it!

GameLux magazine will be published once every three months. I read the first edition, and it's a very good read. The "Frag-o-scope" was a very good idea, it's pretty fun and interesting.

I am born between 19th Feb - 21st Match, so I am an Orc. So my Frag-o-scope reads: No guts, no glory! You should run blindly into enemy territory more often. It could happen that you could catch a few n00bs in their back.

Grubby is a Rocketlauncher (20 April - 21 May) and his Frag-o-scope reads: You're in top shape! You would do well to crawl behind your monitor a bit more often in the coming days. Who knows, you might make it to become a pro. And those extra frags could give your self-confidence a boost as well.

He was hosting on stage alone, and now also commentating alone, he got so thirsty that he had to drink some water at the early stages of the game sometimes. Once, he had to run to the toilet, thus leaving the game silently going on for 2 minutes.. haha..

ESL's booth at HME seem to be a great success. Even though we were there for only a few hours, we heard from the staffs that it's all going very well, and the booth is busy at all times.
