Overall Predictions:

United State- H2O^Stripez

I'd have to go with MYM because they're probably the best team in 6.52e

New Zealand MCC|slavOuchka

I think there are a few teams who could win MYM Pride. Certainly if it weren't for inevitable lag issues I would say EHOME would win as I believe they're playing the best 6.52e DotA out of anyone.

Teams like MYM, SK and Rush3d would have to be the favourites though as they have the experience in playing in and winning these online tournaments. Also I think H2O is a great team who have the potential to win it.

Denmark MYM|PusHer

I think MYM will win it, since we´ve proven to be the most consistent team in the history of competitive dota

Germany mouz|LevenT

Pretty easy question to me ...its MOUZ WHO ELSE?? coz we like turtles.

France srs[razer]cat

There are a lot of teams who can give a suprise in this tournament, it all depends on the match format, if it's bo1, it will suit the teams who have talent, but not as much experiance such as other powerhouse teams (mym, sk, mouz etc). I think at the top there won't be that many underdog teams, mainly because when it comes to Prime Defending the powerhouse teams take it very seriously and they all want to win it.

I want to see 8ball/MCC going pass preliminaries, and I think those are the underdogs here. The rest of the brackets, I can't see how there can be a suprise. As for the final part, my expectations is again that the powerhouse teams will be there. I'm sure it will be a great show since PD is the chance for the teams that were always good, somewhere between top and high to make their way to the top.

Romania neXt`Snake

MYM and mouz look to be in top shape, its also nice the see the rusian teams back in action. I am sure Rushed will go a long way.
Hopeing we will be the underdogs :)) and get back in shape until the advanced stages of the playoffs.

United State- EG.HiT0Mi

I think MYM's gonna take this pride again since their strongest competitors are going to be at a big disadvantage due to hosting and delay issues. Other teams that should be interesting to watch are Ks, H2O and eHome. As usual, SRS, Rush3d and Mouz have every chance of winning too of course.

Sweden `dmZ|SOND

Hmm I'm not updated with the teams that are left, i think usual stable teams like MYM Mouz will be in top like normal. But american teams are being very good lately , and can be the winner. For underdog, I think esuba can beat anyone in the tournament when they play their best!

Denmark Met|MiSeRy

I think MYM, srs, Met and Ks will end up at top 4. No underdogs :D

Russian Fede- RuSh3D|PGG

I think Rush3d, Ks, or MYM will take first place. Whatever it is, I don't want to face Asian teams because there's always big trouble with delay.

United State- check6^wtfmate

Well first off, playoff preliminaries aren't over yet so there might be some surprise upsets before the playoff even begins. Anything can happen in the playoffs, given the best of one format until the final four teams in the Winners Bracket, as well as the double elimination factor, but I think this is MYM's tournament to lose. In my opinion they've been the best team over the past two months.

However, I wouldn't be surprised to see SK, Mouz, or RUSH3D take the title as well. As for underdogs, well, they aren't considered "underdogs", but I'm really looking forward to see how EHOME does on the international stage. They're proven themselves in tournaments in Asia and some say they are the "best team in the world". It'll be interesting to see if they can try and live up to that statement as well as playing with delay on the european/american hosts. As for wildcards, I think the North American teams, H2O and Pandemic will go far in this pride, and the team I think everyone will be watching is EHOME.

Over the next few pages are the predictions from the pro-players for Round 2 of the playoffs.
