EPS Benelux Pictures

EPS Benelux finals was held yesterday in the city of Utrecht. Grubby has lived in the province of Utrecht all his life, so the location was quite convenient for us. We only need to take a 20 minutes tram ride. The event was held in the beautiful building of Winkel van Sinkel (Click to read the interesting history of the building).

If we have to go into the city of Amsterdam, it would take longer - then it would then be 20 mins tram ride and 20 mins train. The Dutch WCG finals will be in Amsterdam this coming weekend 27th September, on a Saturday. For Warcraft III, MYM]Grubby will be playing against srs.Rotterdam again in the finals! So check back for the results and pictures!

Rotterdam uses a large razer mouse pad, but in fact he only needed to use one quarter of it. The rest are just hanging off the table. :p

All in all, it was a great event. While we waited for the prize ceremony, we watched other people dance salsa downstairs.

We would like to thank ESL and the Dutch Organisers for making this event a success. Thanks to Netherlands Wouter for all the free drinks and free beer to the players!

Yeah, but Rotti has very nice games against Grubby though, he won the first map Lost Temple, and the second map Gnoll Wood he put on a very good fight too. Gnoll Wood was a pretty close game. Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.

Utrecht is the last place I've been, with my mother, the last time i saw here, realy strange to see my idol doing his job there, and i remember that house, 'Winkel van Sinkel', We had a trip on a boat, where a guide told us about it, she said that this house, was the first department store ever in Holland. She also said a little poem with something like 'pillen om te poepen' I remember.

Realy strange to see, that my idol played in the city, the town, where i had the last moments with my mom... It kinda refreshes my memory, It's such a special place for me :)

Cassandra for best Journalist and best e-sports photographer. Seriously you should be working for some travel agency taking pictures of exotic places, because I seriously enjoy your picture blogs more than i do wc3. Hardly even play wc3 anymore, i just look at random website to see how the scene is doing lol.

I wouldnt thank the ESL too much. This Event was a huge fail with no coverage at all. Anyways nice pictures.At least it was nice for the players.... Better light a candle than curse the darkness!
