How is it that you and Strifecro have beaten 2 of the best 2v2 teams in the world? (Susiria / Lucifer and Dark / Yaws)

Well unlike solo in 2v2 tactics are extremely important. In both those series we out manuevered and outpositioned our opponents to where it made the battles themselves much easier. Also we tried to stay one step ahead of our opponents in army composition.
Knowing how they'd start the game we used and army composition that would be stronger than them early/mid game to get an advantage there and then knowing how they'd add to their armies to try to counter ours we already started adding units that would help counter their new armies before they had them up.
Such as Faerie Dragons for casters and then later Hippo riders for siege?
Yes, although hippo riders were also for the casters as they have ridiculous range/dps

Why do you think more NE don't use Faerie Dragons or Hipporiders versus Human?
| Bear/Dryad with good micro works perfectly fine against any human army and many Night Elf players probably figure why try to fix something when nothing is broken? |
Well Bear/Dryad with good micro works perfectly fine against any human army and many night elf players probably figure why try to fix something when nothing is broken?
Also against a rifle/caster army hippo riders aren't so powerful (just as wyvners aren't). You do sometimes see top night elf players often adding in faerie dragons against a human army with a decent amount of casters.
Some night elf players don't add them in and as for why, maybe it's just lack of familiarity with the unit. Yes, a human player can back away from faerie's but they'll probably take some damage doing so and it's only a 2 food unit.
There's no better person than someone who plays random to ask about balance, do you feel the game is for the most part balanced? Is there any one unit, hero or item you feel is too strong or too weak?
Well the races are definitely balanced and I think every matchup is very even (although on certain maps the COOKIE strategies from one race might be inferior to the COOKIE strategies of another race which is totally different from saying that the race itself is weaker on that map).
That being said I do think that each race has certain units that are a tiny bit too strong and certain ones that are a tiny bit too weak which decreases the strategic depth of the game.
