Like many of his teammates and many American semi-pros, Axslav is not a pro-gamer and really doesn't devote much time to his gaming. Axslav's playtime however is exceedingly small. Though many Amateur Warcraft players exalt him, he's just a normal everyday guy.

Tell us a little about yourself:

My name is Nick Ranish, I'm 22 years old and I live in San Jose, California in the US. I go to university at University of California at Santa Cruz where I am getting a degree in Computer Science.

I like to play soccer and hang out with friends in my spare time; I used to be big into martial arts but I haven't kept up with that for quite a while now.

Take me through a routine day in your life.

Well it really changes a lot depending what's going on with me. For example, during this summer I've had a lot of free time in my days; I generally wake up around 8 or 9, eat breakfast then go work out a bit - running and calisthenics.

After that I'll eat lunch then either ladder some (when season 6 was on going), or do some reading trying to find future research opportunities for myself or algorithm research for a professor I work with.

I also like to play random fun strategy games like Rome/Medieval Total War, Battle For Wesnoth (a freegame), and when my brother and dad are around I play Company of Heroes with them.

During the school year I spend less time screwing around with random games and more time on schoolwork and hanging out/playing soccer with friends.
