(Continued From Page 2) - No critical hits on either player have been expelled. Rock chasing off a hydra force with DT's but overlords arrive finally. July is able to prevent any drone loss by surrounding the cloaked warrior lol. July again tries to take the top left main, and again is seen by corsairs flying over the northern skies of the map. All zerg forces rally to the top, while Rock sneaks in the back with some zealots & ht's. 1 storm just took about 20 lings & hydras out there!, Rock moves the units onto the 6 island when forces arrive. These also are put to a halt. I realize this is probably more then anyone out there wants to read, but this is an intense game, and when i stop typing, it's very hard to get going again :). This will be summarized below so do not worry, it is not necessary to read all of this. Ok, huge attack or corsairs/dt's at the lower right, as dt's now destroy all the drones of the base, and are able to take out all the hydras as well. Lings finally arrive to stop it. July has about 10 or 12 hatcheries throughout the map and is still macroing like crazy. Rock's micro is keeping him going right now however, as July cannot seem to deal with the precision of his psi storms. Rock now takes the minerals in the middle of the map; both bases. July sees it with some scouting overlords but there are just too many sairs protecting it to be able to do anything.

Slowly, but surely, the resources are soon going to start dwindling, as we just passed the 30 minute mark in this game, and neither player is showing hopes of winning this anytime soon. Zerg forces move across the southern part of the map, and are taking out the canon perimeter of the inner bases. They now move around towards the north, appearing to go for the main base of Rock. Corsairs are constantly patrolling the map for undefended overlords, and they find them, attempting a drop on the lower middle base. Also psi storm erupts from inside the bases to the hydras lurking around the outside of the walls. Both players have 6 bases at this point. Large attack now coming on the natural expansion at the top right main. 3 or 4 groups of units (hydras/lings) move into the protoss base, no wait, instead they are grabbed by some overlords and send towards the middle bases. Psi storm fills the air, and corsairs hunt down the overlords...

...all zerg units RAPED!!! Go Rock! Now Rock on the offenseve at the 9 island, and he is able to destroy the zerg expansions with a group of ht's & archons with sairs patrolling the skies!

 July now attempting to make use of devoureres to stop the overlord raping. AND AGAIN another massive assault by July is shot down in flames by Rock!! We are now roughly 40 minutes into this game! July now has a formidable force of devoureres and hydras, and these are able to take down part of the corsair fleet along with several shuttles near the 9 island. Another attack at the original natural of Rock by devs/hydras. Psi storm halts for the moment, as it flies everywhere in the view of the screen. Rock still pumping mainly ht's with few zealos from his main, I don't think i've seen A dragoon in this game. Defilers are now coming out for July as he probably is seeing that his mass assaults are not working without swarm. July has nydus canals linking his base at the top left with his base at the 6oclock island. Rock again takes out a zerg expo attempt at the 9 island and is now setting it up for himself, as he is running low on minerals. All bases on the map are now accounted for, July with 7 & Rock with 7 :) Neither player can make any headway on the other, although Rock is definately playing the defensive role in this one, securing his expansions and trying to slowly strangle the zerg armies. July tries with hydras to attack the original natural of Rock but the cluttered entrance is a valley of death for the hydras...

 

...as canon fire & storm block the only passages into the base. Zerg rallies all force here however! and another large battle is about to begin. Lings/Hydras are all sent in, dark swarm flies...

...the storm is doing what it can but it does not look good for that natural, as a rain of zerg forces flood the base. Rock blocks the top of the ramp to his main ... and holy shit....psi storm takes out at least 50 zerg units, halting the attack, but a beautiful Plague goes off on the toss forces...

...45 minute mark surpassed. Rocks' natural has been pretty well destroyed, but nothing important was there. Overlords now moving toward the top right...drop about to happen? OH and another beautiful set of storms goes off above the middle bases as zerg forces try to take down a group or archons & ht's, but fails miserably. Large group of overlords moves across map, met by corsairs, and retreat towards the 6 island which is secured by spores. Corsairs take down several overlords, but eventually run off. July begins plagueing random things throughout the map, most noticably the cannons at the middle bases. More units continue to die from well placed psi storms & again...

...no player is above the other right now. Rock puts down a fleet beacon, possibly seeing carriers as the only way out of this game. 50 minutes into game now. Yep...I'm taking a break after this one...good lord. Carpal Tunnel here I come!! Large drop occurs at the 9 island...

...hydras are spaced all over and psi storm actually does lots of damage to toss units, but does take down the zerg units as well. Rock lost most of his probes in that attack because of what I just spoke of. Money beginning to become more and more rare, as the middle bases are running out. Rock now builds a couple of dark archons...maybe for mind control...or maelstrom more likely at the 9 island...

...Huge battle now....oh July sneaks by the protoss forces into his main but psi storms fill the screen yet again, as Rock is trapped out of the main base, he is forced to shuttle forces in as the zerg forces are now ravageing the main, psi storm again erupts!!!

...as the lightning clears the battlefield is riddled with zerg bodies and it appears that Rock has saved him base. He now send a counterattack to the top left natural and raises the hatchery to the ground.

 Totally in favor of Rock now!!!! I have seen more storm in this match then any I've ever watched previously. All Rock has are ht's or archons, once the psi storm is used up. This is truly an amazing game. Fleet beacon has finished now and Rock is building carriers. This game is going to end very soon I think as July cannot take them down, along witht he power of psi storm. 55 Minutes into game now. July trying to expand again to the top left natural, but is shut down by a force or archons & ht's. Zerg forces rally to attack that force from all sides. Disruption web goes down on hydras!! Beautifully played, psi storms fills the webs also, July no longer has a chance if Rock continues this onslaught of magic spells. He get's the last hydra with a final storm before morphing all ht's into archons. No storm for th emoment being :( Carriers have arrived! The end is near for July. Final group of hydras attacks and is webbed...

...stormed and intercepted to death. July taps GG!!! And after a 57 minute, action packed game, it is TheRock[3.33] who come away with the win this time around! For the viewing pleasue of all, you can Download The VOD, Here!
