APM is Canda's best Undead player and one of the best players in North America. He has been with Delta for several seasons and has delivered consistent results for them. I tried to find out more about Delta's team chemistry and how the players felt about Yane their long time friend leaving.

How is team morale since you were knocked out of WC3L qualifier? How do you think the team did and how did you do personally?
I feel we're obviously disappointed to a certain extent, but most of us have stuff going on besides WC3 so it's not a huge deal. I'm far more concerned about the consequences of our failure to qualify, for example Yane leaving. As far as my performance goes, I wasn't in stellar shape at the time but I did manage to win 3 matches. I lost to Check who is a far greater player than me, so no surprise there.
Did you see it coming, Yane leaving? Was it more or less a direct consequence of not qualifying?
It was definately inevitable. He's a really talented player who strives for excellence, and it was clear to me that the atmosphere in the team was far too casual for him. Surely not qualifying was a factor, but it was also the straw that broke the camal's back if anything. Can't say the money wasn't luring to him as well.
Are you satisfied with your personal and team performances in the other leagues?
I'm definately satisfied with my personal performance. In the past my team would consider me a sure win in the majority of situations, or at least a coinflip against very good opponents. Lately we've been going through a dead air period so I've been going through a stretch where I practice less. Although I'm playing less consistently, I feel I'm still winning a lot, except against elf which is admittedly a weakness for me. However I'm in the process of getting back in shape at the moment.
Because of the nature of Delta's players being semi-pros and not true professionals, do you think you'll ever be able to perform at WC3L level?
Basically, all of our players being motivated and active at the same time would equate to the planets aligning. If such a thing ever happened I'm confident that we could at least easily qualify. A more realistic occurance would be us simply experiencing a good run in the qualifiers, getting good match-ups and a good amount of luck, etc, and then proceeding to float around the lower end of the WC3L scoreboard for a couple of seasons or so.

Do you think adding another player to the roster would help the situation or is it really just a situation where players have busy lives and can't practice at the same time?
Adding a player is certainly an option, however the market is dry and, being a rather tightly knit team, and being primarily North American, we do have certain criteria that we would like to respect, ideally. Conversely, not many Europeans are in tune with the prospect of affiliating themselves with fat hamburgers.
Do you think because of players being in top shape at different times you can do well in NGL-style leagues?
We can sometimes rely on our 1-2 stronger players in this format. This is sometimes advantageous for us, yes. However, we are lacking a good orc or human, which severely cripples us in a format where it is so easy to abuse Lost Temple. I think this is as much a flaw in the NGL format as it is in our lineup.
Anything else you want to add?
Just want to give a shoutout to Minimum
