In the Opening round is SK Gaming v Meet Your Makers (Which is becoming the ever pepetual rivalry) and World Elite v Mouzsports, granted Mouz players originate from around the world, primarily Europe ( SaSe, ToD, Happy, Fly, HasuObs), half of their active players reside in China where ToD, SaSe and Fly train.

At times in my thoughts, the WE v Mouz matchup has seemed almost like a changing of the guard, ToD dominated WC3L in 4 Kings as the world’s best Human player, but since then Sky has emerged as his equal, and even more recently Infi has been one of the most dangerous players in the world with strong performances in NSL and KODE5, granted he did not qualify for PGL, as his teammate Sky did, fnatic.Focus was quoted as saying the qualifiers were as hard as the tournament. Based on what I've seen, I am curious to see how ToD will respond to playing WE in WC3L, perhaps the ultimate stage in WC3. Although it is not a solo tournament, a good performance by ToD could reassert his impact at the top of WC3 - despite his expressed diminished interest in the scene.

Ever since Road of the King, I became enthralled by World Elite. In case you missed it, and I pity you if you did, TeD completely dominated Road of the King, pretty much ensuring World Elite winning the tournament by himself, and making me look foolish. I had looked at TeD as support player for allstars Sky and Infi, the superstars of WE that I admittedly overhyped. I don't think I was alone in thinking I didn't expect Sky and Infi to struggle and TeD to destroy his competition. Now having seen it, with Ted in this shape, Sky in the semi-finals of PGL, and Infi coming off a big win at KODE5, how could anyone hope to beat WE on LAN?
