You won against Mondragon 2-0 in the Razer TSL on Sunday. Did you realize already what happened and what you reached?
- It feels great! It is not a common thing to win with top3 WCG and 44-1 tsl zvp user :D..
Whole day everyone was sending me congratulations etc. Something like this didn't happen even after WCG.. so WOW ! great feeling :]
The bets over at GosuGamers.net were 90% vs 10% in favour of Mondragon.
- I was pretty confident about the loss.. I think its not about that im bad or lame ;P just mondragon is a monster. He has been killing p's for quite a long time now.. So it should be just another easy zvp for him ;)
How did you prepare for the match?
- I didn't play much, watched replays of mondragon and played a few games with ret on wuthering hights. I actually came back from BBQ + beers an hour before the game! Maybe that's my strenght?
How did the maps affect the outcome of the result?
- The maps weren't that good for me actually. I find it very hard to play good on them... But I just played my best and it finished very nice for me.
The first game, looked pretty even all the time.
- The first game had tough beginning, I wasn't warmed-up and I didn't kill hatchery which should be killed easily... I needed like 15 mins to manage my micro macro and strategy. I can say that my fe didn't go as planned but my micro and macro were nice later then.
Mondragon and you played both more or less without any mistakes, what did you finally make to win this game?
- I was expecting mass of ultra ling + drops. The only way to counter this are reavers and well mixed up unit limit. I amazed even myself by winning that game :)
The second game: Did you think after the first 10mins that you still could win it?
- I had good start, I made safe but offensive strategy that gave me time to expo; plus I managed to kill some drones. The hardest part began when Dissy started to drop everywhere at the same time. It is extremely hard to be everywhere, not to lose your probes and kill some units while defending the main at the same time. I knew it will be hard but I just kept playing my game.
In the mid game you took more and more the control, how have you been able to turn the game?
- I think that hidden expo on 1st o'clock gave me big boost from the beginning ;) I was defending well against that drops and I was still expanding, gaining more units. After some time I picked right time to attack.
Your micro was really impressive in that game, for example when you picked out a reaver and dropped it behind some gonns and minerals. Did you work on your micro lately?
-
I remeber that part but it was in the 1st game. Frankly, I don't really train my micro, last time I played some micro ums was like a year ago . When u play reavers for some time you learn how to control them well and just squeeze out all you can from them!
In the first game you built a lot of archons and also dark archons in the late game. In the second game you got up a lot of reavers. Can you tell us why you changed the units in the second game compared to the first game?
- My strategy in the first game was mainly based to counter ultra-ling. That is why reavers were necessary. In the second game Dissy used hydra-lurk so I had to use different kind of unit mix to overwhelm him. By time I knew I have to prepare for ultras again but my unit combo was already good so there was no need to built any additional robotics.
You were able to take down great players lately like White-Ra, A2 or EX and now Mondragon of course. On WCG last year also Draco couldn't stop you. Dreiven - the legend killer?
- I wouldn't say that! I have my moments when I just concentrate like 200% and play without mistakes. After games like that I amaze myself because I don't really play much like that. It's like I am doubling my skills and predict opponents moves ;] I hope I'll have some skill left for next rounds!
A propos Draco, there is a chance that you will face him again in the TSL finals. If you could make your way until there, can you beat im again, do you want to face him?
- Playing Draco is always very hard. He is the most experienced non-Korean player ever. He doesn't have to play much to own! Anyway, if I face him in the finals I'll be well prepared for that battle!
Next week you face BRAT_OK, how do you see your chances against him?
- Lately I haven't been lossing much PvT. But Brat is a very good player and his TvP is really strong. I'll train for it because those maps are very tricky, one mistake can cost you the game.
What is your opinion about the the TSL in general so far?
- The tournament is amazing. You don't meet so many good players in one tournement (not counting WCG) and you don't have many occasions to play when the prizepool is 10,000$! I am really glad I can be a part of it. Keep up the good work !

I'm a bit confused O_o I think Crow and Dreiven are mixing the games. Somehow, Crow asks about the second game, Dreiven answers about first...
Anyone has the same feeling? :D Game 1 was about archons, game 2 about reavers, as far as I remember, right? Do not hesitate.
