KODE5 Grand Finals is going to be in Moscow, Russia this weekend, 10th and 11th May 2008. Three questions were asked to 11 of the Warcraft III Finalist, namely RotterdaM, Bianconero, Happy, TeRRoR, Grubby, TheBringer, ToD, Soccer, Shy, HasuObs and Frozen. Let's see what they have to say about their shape and expectations of this tournament.

RotterdaM - Netherlands

MYM]Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
RotterdaM: Hm excited is maybe not the word to describe it exactly but I look forward to it for sure, I've been to Russia before and I had a great time so I guess i will have it again.

MYM]Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
RotterdaM says: Yes I have been training quite hard. Most of the time its easy to say you didn't play that well cause A) lalala and B) lalala but I did a few games but if I'm honest I had a lot of time to prepare cause i had 2 weeks holidays and even the period before that I've been playing a lot again so yes I definately have been training hard but I'm not sure if I'm really confident. There were days in practise i played so good that i can say I cant remember the time I was been playing so good, but as we all know playing good in practise and playing good when you have to is a big difference so I have to say how i'm gonna play under pressure and when it really matters, but I hope I manage fine and then I would be quite confident, but no use to put myself under pressure since my group has 2 Major favorites for the title as in Infi and Shy so it will allready be a big task to beat one of them, not to forget Frozen who wont be easy either, now I gotta admit analyzing this I might be a little excited after all!

MYM]Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
RotterdaM: It's so hard to make expectations for yourself and I've learned from the past that I can better not do so, I will try my absolute best and I hope i can make a good performance but I've got no idea where that will bring me. Overall winner is incredible hard to predict, but my risky prediction would say Happy. Since I'm deep inside a little happy fan and I think he's an amazing player, playing in his homecity might give him wings and play even better than he normally does.

Bianconero (Bro) - Bulgaria

MYM]Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
Bianconero: :) Indeed, yes, i'm lookin` forward to it and I hope it's gonna be fun there ;p

MYM|Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
Bianconero: So so... I had some problems with my pc and gaming equipement lately ;) it's all about the positive adjustment

MYM|Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5?
Bianconero: I just can hope :) to do well :) ... If you want nothing, you get everything - or something like this ;)

MYM|Cassandra: Who do you expect to win the tournament?
Bianconero: I don't care rly ;) It's like big football matches - I'm for the football !:) I hope it's gonna be an exciting tournament etc;)

Happy - Russia

MYM|Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited?

Happy: Well nothing special, just another one tourney of many many tourneys ^^

MYM|Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
Happy: i train hard everyday, not only for kode5, and i always feel confident when i have a serios match, especially when it is serious lan tourney

MYM|Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?

Happy: well i hope i can perform well and finish at least in top3, but ofcourse im setting my mind only on first place :) Expect me to win, nobody else :d

TeRRoR - Poland

MYM|Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?

TeRRoR: I feel pretty excited since i will meet again my old mates and also i will see with my new mates ( soccer + point ). I hope it will be good tournament :P.

MYM|Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
TeRRoR: Well thats hard question... I just finished plaing dota so i think im well prepared for the tour. Im not confident at all but im not scared of anyone too. I dont want to say anything i just want to play good games :P.

MYM|Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
TeRRoR: Hmhmhm... as i said before. I dont want to make any predictions and comment my performance. I just wish to play the best i can and may the better win this tournament :P.

Grubby - Netherlands

MYM|Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?

Grubby says: Yes, I'm very excited about going to Russia...because of the KODE5 event of course I've been pretty hyped for the last few days.

MYM|Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
Grubby says: I've been training literally everything I can, and can notice that I start getting higher APM's (good sign) and some new ideas which I will put to use in KODE5.

MYM|Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
Grubby says: I believe I got what it takes to win the tournament, hardest opponents will be the asians and russians, but everyone is beatable.

BrinGeR - Finland

MYM|Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
BrinGeR: I'm happy that I managed to quali to KODE5, but i'm not very excited, at least not yet, maybe the fun begins at the event.

MYM|Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
BrinGeR: In fact I have been training quite much for this event and at the moment im quite confident that i'm able to go through the groupstage :).

MYM|Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5?
BrinGeR: My first goal is to get into top2 in my group, if I manage to do that, I try to play my best and get into top4. I think I do have chances to win the whole event, but the chances are very low :).

MYM|Cassandra: Who do you expect to win the tournament then? :)
BrinGeR: I can't name one, I'd say that Soccer, Infi, Grubby and Shy have the biggest chances, but I wouldn't be surprised if some underdog won the tour or made it to the final.

ToD - France

MYM]Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
ToD: Very excited, especially as it is my first time to visit Russia.

MYM]Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
ToD: I've been training okay, more than for the few previous tournaments i took part in for sure. I usually always lack confidence in tournaments so that feeling doesn't change for this one.

MYM]Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
ToD: No particular expectation, i hope i can play as well as i hope to and reach top3. My personnal favorite to win the tournament is Infi, i have been really impressed by him while watching his replays lately and i think he's the big favorite to win this tournament.

Soccer - Korea

MYM]Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?

Soccer: I`m exciting because the first trip for Russia.

MYM]Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
Soccer: I practiced very hard and hope play well as the practice. I will know my condition after I arrive.

MYM]Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
Soccer: It`s very hard to expect...and it depends on adaptation.

Shy - Korea

MYM]Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
Shy: yeh, this is my 2nd time to go russia. also kode5 is excite.

MYM]Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
Shy: i was in quater final at 1st time . so i wanna take more record, then i getting practice to do it. and i'm pretty good.

MYM]Cassandra: How long had you been practising for KODE5?
Shy: i didn't have many time to practice. cuz i had match that rotk in wuhan. so i getting many pratice in proportion to the days

MYM]Cassandra: Since you had been to Moscow before, what are your impressions of the city?
Shy: beautiful city. i saw a great night view in moscow. also many people are kind.

MYM]Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
Shy: i always make up one´s mind i will won at this tournament, like this, at every tournament.

HasuObs - Germany

MYM]Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
HasuObs: Yes, i'm really looking forward to be in Moscow. I heard its wonderful city and happy told me that he weather is quite good aswell at the moment. Im glad that i have the chance to replace dArk and be an attendee of the KODE5 tournament.

MYM]Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
HasuObs: Acutally i seem to be in awful shape, i lost my last 2 EPS matches and i also lost to Terror in the WC3L. I didnt practise the last two or three days to free my mind and think a bit more about my mistakes which caused my defeats. I always feel a bit stronger offline so i hope i can gain some self-confidence again and advance in my group!

MYM]Cassandra:What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
HasuObs: I really hope i can finish in the top8 of the tournament, which means that i pass my group. I think ToD and Infi are excellent players, they both have big chances to win KODE5. Same goes for Happy and Grubby, those 4 players will fight for the title.

Frozen - Belarus

MYM|Cassandra: KODE5 is just around the corner. Are you excited about going to Russia?
Frozen: Hm. Not really. I lived @ Moscow with my former team Gravitas, also i was on Gamex and some Asus @ Moscow. so im not excited about going to Russia :)

MYM|Cassandra: Have you been training hard for KODE5 and do you feel confident?
Frozen: I didnt practise in wc3 about 2 month, and just 2 weeks ago i took break at school and started practise hard for kode5, but i feel 2 weeks was not enought to prepare very well for this event. But still i will try my best.

MYM|Cassandra: What are your expectations for your performance in KODE5? And who do you expect to win the tournament?
Frozen: hah, hard to say my expectations for kode5 after i saw my group. Before it i wanted to pass the group. I still want it but seems its a little impossible with infi/shy in one group -) I think infi will win this tournament.
