SonKiE - Living The American Dream
Matt "Wizard" Anderson, Dennis "Shortround" Chan, Franklin "Nilknarf" Pearsall and Phil "Longwalk" Crawford. These are the names of players that once graced the American Warcraft scene by competing against the very best on an international level.
This year however looks set for Nik "SonKiE" Cassidy as he will be filling in the shoes of an American Warcraft 3 legend.
The 18-year-old was first introduced to the game by one of his friends from middle school way back in the RoC days, and has been constantly playing the game ever since. Motivated by watching massive amount of replays and viewing photos of professional gaming events, SonKiE strives to become a full-time professional player.
myMYM caught up with the talented teenager for a 3-part interview which includes a brief history of himself, team transitions, a little tactic-sharing session as well as a glimpse into his future and the state of e-sports in America.
