I would never publish this if I did not feel 100 percent sure about it. However there is no doubt in my mind that Guddo never played the entire game against chemistry.
The difference between the two players is so huge, that even though Guddo was a part of a good Danish team he would never be able to elevate his game so much in just three months. That would demand a whole lot more practice and to think that a gamer can change his style so radically without even playing is a sign that you lack knowledge of the game on a top level or that you have gone into depth with the situation.
Some might claim that Guddo simply had a good day but although Guddo hit the best day in his life, that would in no way explain how a change of style had taken place. It was two completely different people playing in the two matches. Since you cannot raise doubt as to whether Guddo played on LAN in Germany, we must conclude that the person playing the online final was not Guddo – this is based on the demo analysis and facts brought into observation in this analysis.
To broaden the perspective a little bit I have asked the opinion of several people that either plays at the very top or is highly active here:
http://www.satanion.dk/statements.htm (statements are in Danish)
DEL's verdict:
DEL delivered their verdict the 23rd of February 2008. In the headline it stated: “Case closed” and in it stood:
”Serverloggen viser at det var guddo's ip, der blev spillet fra.Der er ikke afleveret eller henvist til anden bevismateriale.Vi har set på demoen og finder den ikke tilstrækkeligt overbevisende til at kunne bruge den i sagen. Derfor frifinder vi mTw, guddo og whiMp fra anklagen.”
”The serverlog shows that it was Guddo’s ip from which the game was played. Other evidence has not been admitted or linked. We have looked at the demo and found it to be inconclusive in this case. Therefore we acquit mTw, Guddo and whiMp of all charges”
It is in my eyes embarrassing admin work. Whoever was responsible for this case has either not gone to the proper depth of the matter or the person simply did not have the required proficiency to do so.
How can one go into this case and not use demos from former matches as a part of the evidence!? It is pure logic that in order to understand the style of the gamer, you need to watch prior matches and compare his style of play from those to the new demo with him. I have no doubt that if you chose to watch a demo from LANmount and then this demo of the final against Chemistry, you will, in 95% of the cases, find that Guddo did not play in the final!
Okay, it has been determined that the IP used was from Guddos home but that hardly proves anything. There is no guarantee that he was the one wielding the mouse – it could be anybody.
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog as much as I enjoyed writing it. I have spent a long time on it and I hope that that reflects off. I find the analysis to be thorough and precise; hence I cannot believe that Guddo was the one who played in that final. Thanks for your time.
