- Hi, REAL! Could you introduce yourself to those you might not know you, and tell us briefly about your clan history?

- Yaddley diddley doodley, my name is Sondre Svanevik, im 16 years old and im currently living in a small town called Sogndal on the west coast of Norway.

My first serious clan was Greed, after a month we got the all so lovely online-reputation. We did'nt attend any LANs so I guess we deserved it. After Greed I joined up with Cadre, I guess this was my breaktrough in the norwegian scene, we attended some minor LANs and won it, we also placed 5/6th at Rendezvous, something that was a good event for us.

After Cadre I had a break for a couple of months, suddenly xione called me and asked me if I wanted to play together with raven, JAEGARN, bobo and him in team9. Everybody knows the story from there to where I am now.

You are often described as the most talented player in Norway. How do you feel about that?

- Its nice that people enjoy my style of playing, but I really dont think im a talent anymore:D

You were a part of Team9 not long ago, how is your realtionship with the three players you left behind?

- The relationship is pretty much the same, we still play together, but not as often of course.

REAL with the rest of the guys in Team9 at CPL UK

Catch-Gamer mainly consist of highly experienced players who have already won a great deal of events. How does it feel to be a part of such a successful team?

- It feels great, and I just hope that I can give the team something extra that will bring us on top of the big tournaments this year.

Did you get any other offers besides the one from Catch-Gamer when you left Team9?

- Yes, I did.

How did you get involved with Counter-Strike?

- Some IRL friends of mine introduced me to it.

World rankings for CS teams are published all the time, but how does your top5 World Ranking look like?

- Catch, sk, nip, coL, wNv I guess. Teams like NoA and project are also very strong.

How do you feel about all the changes in the various teams that has taken place in the start of the new year?

- I think mouz got really strong after some changes, I don`t know about the rest, maybe fnatic got something going on.

Participants at CPL events must be a minimum of 17 years of age, and you are 16 years old. What is your opinion on the age limit, and what do you think should it be?

- I don`t really care now, Im 17 before CPL dallas :D

What is your goal with Catch-Gamer in 2006?

- To win some major tournaments, and place top5 on the rest.

What would you characterize as your biggest strengt and your biggest weakness as a CS-player?

- Im very flexible, I can be everywhere on the map. My biggest weakness is my awp, one day im better than fRoD, the next day im playing like xione with it. Totally random.

Juve9le and REAL

The Asian Counter-Strike Scene is starting to dominate more and more with top teams like Lunatic-Hai and wNv, do you think this will be the case in the future?

- I don't really know, I don't hope so. wNv seems unbeatable.

At what events will we get to see Catch-Gamer in the future?

- At all the big tournaments, CPL CPL WT ESWC WEG WCG etc :)

How did you come up with your nickname?

- Actually, I don`t know:S I've had alot of ridiculous nicknames like: Much0, Murder, Th3_Pr3d4t0r and G3n3ral. Some of them does not really make sense, maybe because I was like 11 years old when I figured out what I should name myself. :D

Thank you for the interview!
