Hey yo, most of our readers should know you from your former teams like eoLithic or NoA, but could you please briefly introduce yourself to the ones who might not know you?
- Hi, my name is Lars Olaisen. A 22 year old guy from Norway. Currently playing for Catch Gamer.
You have played Counter-Strike competitively for quite some time now, could you give us a short list of your previous teams?
- I've played in big international tournaments with teams like: Massive Attack, Spacebar, eoLithic, zX9, mTw.hlo, NoA and now Catch Gamer.
How did you get involved with Catch-Gamer?
- I knew most of the guys pretty good beforehand. And always talked to some of them even if we didn't play together. In late september bsl asked me if I wanted to join the team. And after some considerations I accepted the offer and never looked back.
What are your goals for the new year, both personal and team wise?
- Team goal is to place within the top4 at every tournament we attend. Including winning at least one big tournament this year. My personal cs goal is of course to win em all :)
As mentioned before you have played Counter-Strike for a long time. How has your perspective on the media developed over the years, has your way with handling the publicity changed from when you first started out?
- Well, I'm not exactly known to do a lot of media. Never fancied interviews that much. Always someone else in the team that's more mediafriendly. But when I do an interview I just try to act normal without making a total ass of myself or the teams organisation.
You seem to have won nearly everything there is. Is there some events you still hunger for, or are you satisfied?
- As long as you compete you can't ever be satisfied. If you do it's only downhill from there. Still want to win every big tournament out there. 2nd is the 1st place in the losers row :)

A question that often came up in Germany after the changes in mousesports: "do you play for the money or just for fun?". What about you?
- I do play because of my huge competitive instincts. I love to compete in everything i do. In cs i'm able to compete at the highest level, but i'm not gonna say no thank you to the prize money either. The prize money is important for us to actually be able to sacrifice certain things in life to keepon travelling and practicing.
Could you ever imagine to work in an eSport related TV station, like 'vesslan' does at VBCast?
- I don't see myself being the head broadcaster, but if i got a good offer after my competing days are over I don't know what I would do. But it's highly unlikely that I'm gonna get involved in anything of that nature. I guess my way of saying no to most interviews have hurt all my chances to ever be involved in stuff like that :)
What do you do for fun on your spare time?
- I guess i'm like most people. Enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with good friends, go out drinking, and just have a laugh.
At what events will we be seeing you and Catch-Gamer in 2006?
- At pretty much all the big events. We are gonna try to attend as many events we possably can like the team did in 2005. We don't play to practice. It's the competitions that's the fun part. Never understood teams that attend 2-3 events a year. It's hard to do good at every single event, but at least you put your effort out there.
Is there a funny story/happening from your gaming career that you would like to share with the readers?
- Hmm, there's been a lot of funny incidents i guess. When we were bootcamping in Rio vs MiBR in 2003. Me, knox and bsl went out drinking one night and on the walk home towards the hotel we for some insane reason started to have a long series of wrestling fights on Copacabana :) It became pretty intense since playfighting and a lot of alcohole doesn't mix very good together. Knox ended up almost choking me at one point, bsl woke up with some bruised ribs after knox ran into him with the albow first. And knox was so sore the next morning he almost couldn't move. But it was all good fun. We laughed pretty hard the next morning:P

What are your thoughts about the new mousesports team? Do you think they can live up to the expectations, and do you think the lineup will be consistent throughout 2006?
- I'm sure they are gonna do great in 2006. They have a great lineup with 5 talented players. They are one of the many teams out there that's gonna be a contender for the first place spot at every event they attend.
Do you think it was a good or bad move by elemeNt?
- Hard to say. But as long as he is happy with the move, and with the team i'm happy with the move. He's had some ups and downs during the last years, but i really hope the best for him and mouz in the future. He is a good friend and seeing him up there at the top level again is great. So gl to him.
Let us take a look into the crystal ball again. Where do you see yourself in 5 years, still active in eSports?
- That's impossible to know. Every year I always think it's gonna be my last, but it's always something pulling me back in :) If i'm still able to put in the time that cs requires i guess i might play. I have NO idea REALly.
Do you think there will be a group of teams dominating the events in 2006, if so, which ones?
- It's gonna be a group. And it's gonna be huge. I'm gonna be suprised if one team can maintain some kind of a winning streak at the big events.
