Good day, clevaah! Please introduce yourself to our readers:

- Hi! Well, what can I say about myself, my name is Patrik Jonsson and I'm the team manager for Playmakers who recently came up. In my sparetime I like to hang out with my friends, go to the gym etc, like a normal "good" guy!

What made you chose a role in the management ?

- When I was a kid I didn't know what a manager was, I was like a normal kid who just played every day to become better and better and ofcourse wanted to be the best, but it didn't work out at all! (laughs)
Then my sport took a lot of time so I saw this manager thing as a possibility to stay in e-sport, so I began to learn about the role, what a manager does etc and I slowly began to work myself up and here I am today! (smiles)

Tell us about Playmakers the organization, how long has it existed?

- Playmakers has existed for 2-3 weeks and we're not an organization, we're a clan and that's it! We have no plans to expand our clan to become an organization because we're pleased what we are today.

How many people work within the clan?

- It's just me and I'm happy with that, I don't need any help and won't need it either in the future, so sorry folks, you won't get any jobs here! :D

You have announced that your are going to attend CPL Summer 2006. Some people doubt that the team will stick together that long, what is your comment on that subject?

- I'm will not comment on that, the community has the right to say or think whatever they want and obviously everybody thinks they know everyting. The important thing is that we got a chemistry in the team and this chemistry will help us from breaking up in the near future.

Who is going to help out financially with the trip?

- No comment on that at the moment. Everything will be released officially when the time is right.

What are your expectations towards the team, any goals for the future?

- Ofcourse I got some expectations towards the team, I mean we're not just playing for fun, we want to show some good results too, but in my own opinion with this lineup we can go very far and a top5 on every event we're attending is my expectation.

Any thougts on attending a WEG season with the team?

- We have talked about it a little bit but nothing is settled at the moment, but ofcourse it's interesting. You get the chance to bootcamp with each other for two months and that makes the team even stronger but ofcourse it's also
important for the sponsors, they get a chance to get a lot of good PR in two months which is really important since it's the sponsors who's making it possible for the teams to attend events and gives the players a chance to make a living out of gaming.

I understand you haven't thought much about it, but if you do well and everything goes as planned with the CS team, will you then expand and become a Multigaming organization?

- We haven't thought that far yet, we just take day by day and we'll see what happends.

What do you look for in a player, is it the aim, dedication or the knowledge of the game that attracts you?

- Those three abilities are ofcourse really important, but the most important thing with a team is the chemistry, the person must be able to fit in the team perfectly so it can go well, that's why teams are mixxing some personalities nowadays just to get the chemistry working out.

Where do you see yourself and Playmakers at the end of the year 2006?

- I see myself as a proud manager of Playmakers which has taken the world with storm with a lot of gold medals around their necks.

Thanks for the interview. Anyone that deserves a shoutout?

- Just want to thank www.tixit.se / http://spel.tixit.se for their really important support and hopefully we get a good 2006 with a lot of great events!

This Interview was written by Andreas 'Njord' Steiro and implemented by Jonas Kugland.
