Interview: sP.pUB[palit]

sP.pUB[palit]: Hello, my name is Vasiliy Evdokimov, I'm 22 years old unmannered russian. Im a kind of captain of one of the oldest and famous say-plz (sP[palit]) team.

Sentinel or Scourge: Sentinel
Favourite hero: Tiny
Favourite item:  Dagger
Which hero would you rather not play: Shadow Fiend
Favourite player: DoTa[gosu], Admir
Dota tools: Default
Food: Pizza
Song: none
Music: the one i like
TV series: LOST
Movie:  /

Could you please give us some information about your team? What are your expectations for the MYM PriDe#8 tournament?

sP.pUB[palit]: Last Pride we did very badly actually (losing in top-16 if im not mistaken). But such a downfall did a good favour for us. We took it more seriously, began to train as a team, and now we are in much better shape than before. Of course we are aiming as usual for top-1 (i wanted to be triple mym winner too long xD). Lets see how it goes.

If you would have to describe the character of each of your clanmates with a maximum of only 3 words - which words would you use?

sP.pUB[palit]: LightofHeaven - strategy, carry, allrounder, FocusIRE - solo-liner and main-carry player, Horon - strategy, supporter & ganker, plzgogame - very talented, crazyheaded (sometimes), solo-liner, Maniak - good friend, standing, GET-LOST (myself) - ganker/supporter & captain.

Do you think that there are any teams that could have some kind of breakthrough during this tournament?

sP.pUB[palit]: Nowadays a lot of new teams came into competitive scene and can make a lot of "upsets" even for confirmed grands. But i dont want to point out any team exactly :)

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?' :)

sP.pUB[palit]: Nice question! :) Before our last mym pride downfall I'd better answer the second part of your question. Now the first one is closer for us: we try to play some kind of fw every day.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

sP.pUB[palit]: heh :) I forgot to mention that focusire is my little bro and I guess it really looks a bit weird for our parents that we both devote so much time to computer game xD speaking about myself - last year I've graduated from institute and with a friend of mine going to run our own business (but still i got enough time to devote to my lovely addictive game). Most of my reallife friends are kinda far from computer games, but anyway some of them sometimes even visit lan-events we take part and really proud if we winning, though they hardly understand what's going on xD.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

sP.pUB[palit]: Speaking about the most exciting situation in my dota career - for me it was the times i played on stage in finals of such events as ASUS and c58-league: having so many ppl staring at your display, watching your every move, feeling their support - everything makes you feel excited (it disturbs your focus on game but its worth it!)

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

sP.pUB[palit]: I think yes, I believe that people can change - but punishment should be really severe. I assume that question arised according to kanga's case, so speaking about that - I'd say 1 year of ban in competitive scene would be a nice solution.

What do you think about allowing to backdoor the first two towers on each line in the next MYM PriDe Tournament?

sP.pUB[palit]: I dont think that's a big deal - I think I get used to this pretty fast if it is implemented.

Thanks for the interview, any final comments or greetings?

sP.pUB[palit]: Thank YOU! Greetings to all my current teammates, our manager Matrix who puts in a lot of effort helping our team, my ex-teammates such DoTa[gosu] (best player ever), admiration, smile and ofcourse to all my FANS (i know there are really a lot of them (mb in the DEPTHS of heart but still...)).
