- Tell us about your gaming career, which team do you feel has helped you the most with progressing as a player?
Well, I have played Counter-Strike for 5 years (2 years as a proffesional) and I guess I had my best time at team9, even if I probably was the most experienced player by that time, it was really great attending all the fun events. And it really got the media going wild.
- So you feel that team9 has been the most fun team to play for?
Well mYm is the most fun, but I only compare with former teams, and the best team I played with was team9. We had alot of fun together, and they have really suprised me lately and performed really well.
- When did you get involved with Counter-Strike, and did you realize your talent for the game early on?
I started playing like 5-6 years ago. Back then nothing was really serious, so I just played with my in real life friends for fun, but after like 2 years I joined up with my first real serious clan, and I realised that I had the talent and the motivation to go the whole way. I guess I just started to realize that it was more then just the game, all the great people I meat through the year, and the great companionship together with the players. Its just a great action game that really got me stuck, and together with a great organisation like mYm, I'm sure we are going to achieve great things together in the future.
- How does friends and family feel about your lifestyle?
They have always been really supportive, and it has never been a difference, even if it was between soccer or gaming. They just think its great that im out traveling and competing alot, I have meet alot of great people during the year and many of them are still close friends to me, and ofcourse, its never bad to bring some milk to the table.
- With all the practice that comes with being a professional gamer, do you get the time to charm the ladies?
Haha, well I really play alot, but im still really commited to being a social person aswell. So when I get time for it, mostly during the weekends I go out, or just hang around with some friends. But I wouldn't be gaming on this level if I had a serious relationship, cause I think she would hate that, and it would just be a waste of time ;).
- Describe how a normal day looks like for JAEGARN.
Normaly when I don't work, I go up around 12 to eat some breakfast and watch the pracctice schedule for the day. Around 13-16 its pretty random, sometimes I just pracctice pracctice pracctice to get more individual skills and some days I just focus on the tactical parts trying to shape the teams tactics to fit us better, or maybe just change some minor things. Around 17-18 we start practicing with the team. If I don't pracctice during a so called "day off", then I just catch a movie or go out with my mates or something. Otherwise we stop praccing around 23 and then I catch a movie or a serie before I go to bed around 02.
- What has been your greatest moment in professional gaming, and what has been your biggest disappointment?
My biggest disappointment was the latest Dreamhack Winter because the event was really a joke towards us who wanted to play seriously and we coulden't even hear ourself talk on the voice-communication program, and we were freezing to death, so we had to play with our jackets on. The best moment so far was probably with NiP on the acon 5 qualifier, we had alot of fun and many players got their eyes up for me, especially during the NiP match :)
