Q9: Do you consider the rules fair? (The fact that Estro retains the right to pick the person who’s actually getting the contract out of the top 5)
Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski: Yeah of course. Some idiot could just get lucky with dt drops or random counters and knock out someone far better suited to the team's wants.
Eric "G5" Rothmuller: Yes.
Greg "Idra" Fields: It’s their slot, they have the right to choose who they want on the team. Although I would be pretty pissed off if i got first and they picked someone I beat to go instead of me.
Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead: Well it is their team, tournament, and their money. So I really can’t complain with the rules. But I do think it’s fair.. That way its not the person who proxy gates the best, but the person who shows their skills.
Bryce Paul "TheMachine" Bates: They are the ones that are going to be adding the player to their team. I believe the tournament could end and they could just say they don’t want anyone. Everything is up to them. I would like to see a foreigner in a pro team again, but like I said before it’s entirely up to them.
Tyler "Nony" Wasieleski: Oh yes I think that's much better than automatically taking #1. The best player doesn't always win. And if someone obviously gets lucky or only cheeses and has very bad macro or something... well, the Koreans can pick someone with long-term value.
Dhinesh Kumar "Nesh" Devanathan: I actually didn’t know that but fair for a small tourney I guess.
David "Dino" Kent:Yes. That's completely fair. It's their team, they can do what they want. Besides, if someone got lucky and won with all in builds or something, I'm sure eSTRO wouldn't want them. They're just insuring themselves from getting a player that they don't want.
Andrew "Slog4" An: Yea it's their rule, we have to obey it in order to play, if not, then tell them to not play.
Jian Fei "Iefnaij" Wang: Yeah definitely, it’s their tourney and they want to pick the player with the most potential. I don't see anything wrong with that.
Zhe "XiaoZi" Theng: Ya I think its pretty fair. Winner doesn’t [always] mean the best.
Q10: What criteria do you think they will look at while choosing the player? Do you think you match this criteria?
Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski: If I had to guess what they are looking for I would say game mechanics. If that is in fact what they are looking for, I don't match as it is the weakest part of my game.
Eric "G5" Rothmuller: I honestly don't know what they will be looking at. Potential in all forms I suppose.
Greg "Idra" Fields: I’d guess they’re looking for someone young with decent mechanical ability/speed, someone who they’d be able to teach how to play without first having to teach them the basics. I think I fit that description as well as anyone else in the tournament.
Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead: I think they will look at #1 potential #2 strategy #3 mechanics #4 APM. The only way I see myself picked is if they see me being the lowest APM horrible mechanics but overall a decent skill and a lot of potential, but keyboard control, APM, ect. can all be fixed but, potential could never be forced.
Bryce Paul "TheMachine" Bates: They would have to be a very solid player, with good understanding of new styles of play. I play very solid and have an ok understanding of new styles, but I don’t think I understand it the best out of foreigners in this tournament.
Tyler "Nony" Wasieleski: I think they'll look for the player with the best mechanics. They want to be able to tell a person what to do and have them actually be able to do it. I think I was very good at this a month ago, but obviously not so good now. My weakness has generally been timing/decision making/strategy. If ever someone told me exactly what to do, I could always perform it excellently.
Dhinesh Kumar "Nesh" Devanathan: Ha-ha no I wouldn’t go, but [they would pick] someone who is well rounded in all mu's and someone who is skilled and not just lucky, that might be the reason they choose the players depending on who they like.
David "Dino" Kent: Once again, I'm not entirely sure, but I'll take a stab at it. I think they'd want players who exhibit good mechanics, micro, build orders, etc. Of course, it's not all about these things, it's still a game of strategy. I'd like to think that I match the criteria, but who knows.
Andrew "Slog4" An: Well I guess mostly skill wise and their style. And YES I WILL BENCH THEIR HOUSES.
Jian Fei "Iefnaij" Wang: I think they will pick players that are young and have a lot of potential. With unique builds and strategies that are irregular to the Koreans. Someone who is already really good and still has much room for improvements. I don't think I match this criteria; with the exception of being young. I can't imagine myself playing Starcraft more than 10 hours a day.
Zhe "XiaoZi" Theng: I’m not sure, but I think they don’t need any z or t players. All foreigners in Korea were P users. I think that impairs my chances of getting picked. Plus I’m too old.

funny, some are humble even though they got much to offer and some are cocky thinking they got much to offer, will be interesting to see top5 in the end :) jian fei is probably the best target along with idra.
If force won't work, use greater force.
