Questions 5&6

sc

Q5: Lately a lot of top players have been complaining of inactivity and lack of interest. Do you consider yourself being in good shape?

United State- Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski: I feel like my game vs Protoss and vs Terran are both in good shape right now.

United State- Eric "G5" Rothmuller: I play 12-14 hours daily ranging anywhere from 40-60 games a day. Yes.

United State- Greg "Idra" Fields: I haven’t been playing too much since WCG since school started, but I’m still in pretty decent shape. No one has been mass training as far as I know so it shouldn’t be much of a factor.

United State- Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead: Since... Unlike most American players who go inactive... I for one haven't so I would say my shape, was pretty good.

United State- Bryce Paul "TheMachine" Bates: Right after WCG I was in great shape, after summer school started up and I still work 2 jobs. So I haven’t been playing much. I’m not in too great of shape at the moment.

United State- Tyler "Nony" Wasieleski: I've just played 4 games today to get the rust off and they were not so good ~_~

United State- Dhinesh Kumar "Nesh" Devanathan: I haven’t played since WCG. I was actually a last min pick since DAY dropped out of the tournament.

United State- David "Dino" Kent: I'm probably close as good as I'm ever going to get. Although I have been practicing the new courage maps Katrina and Monty Hall instead of Tau Cross and Peaks. I'm happy with where I'm at now though.

United State- Andrew "Slog4" An: Hell no son, I’m in love dude.

Canada Jian Fei "Iefnaij" Wang: Definitely not. I've been playing maybe 5-10 games at most per week, due to the amount of school work. I think most of the other players are inactive as well, so it’s kind of fair.

Canada Zhe "XiaoZi" Theng: Not as good [of a shape] as 4months ago I would say. I went back to China for 4 months vacation. And I didn’t play much in China, but I’m playing a lot now, so I think I’m catching up.

Q6: Have you been practicing specifically for this tournament?

United State- Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski: Not really. Just practicing in general.

United State- Eric "G5" Rothmuller: Actually no I didn’t.

United State- Greg "Idra" Fields: No, Puerto[rican. the mastermind behind this event] contacted us all a few months ago asking if we were interested but I hadn’t heard anything specific about it (when it was) until the tl.net post yesterday. I’ll practice a bit today and tomorrow but there’s not much time to do anything really.

United State- Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead: Well, if I would have known (when/maps/players) I would have been able to do 100x better in practice but considering I was informed about the date, maps, players[only] last night.. I don’t have enough time to mass train like I would like to.

United State- Bryce Paul "TheMachine" Bates: Not much, considering I just found out[about it] yesterday.

United State- Tyler "Nony" Wasieleski: The 4 games I have played in the last month have been on the tournament maps, yes.

United State- David "Dino" Kent: Not at all. I think I'll do fine though.

United State- Andrew "Slog4" An: Not at all. I [only] heard about it yesterday.

Canada Jian Fei "Iefnaij" Wang: Not really. I just played games with my friends for fun, I don't think practicing on specific maps really matter. At this point, I'm just trying to un-rust as much as I can. Hopefully I won’t be eliminated on the first round because of my inactivity.

Canada Zhe "XiaoZi" Theng: No, not really, I don’t know many of them, so I don’t know what I need to prepare. Just playing games everyday on ICCup, and sometimes hamachi.

respect to g5 for telling the truth :) probably 1st time in history a non-korean specified how many hours he actually plays while in general players dodge saying how many hours per day they play or they lie, perhaps its the fear of being labeled as geek who spends 1/2 of day(at least) @ pc
