Q3: Why do you think the tournament is limited to North Americans, despite the fact that the other parts of the world still harbor quiet a lot of talent as well?
Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski: Probably they are looking to expand into USA/Canada in some aspect of their business.
Eric "G5" Rothmuller: Ask estro... i really could not tell you.
Greg "Idra" Fields: Don’t know, Estro might think that the Americas are the next best environment for progaming after Korea/China. Most of the good Europeans have gone inactive to some extent or another as well.
Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead: To me USA is the biggest market possibility for e-sports so, maybe its a way to reach out to a country who has the potential to be something great in e-sports also its GREAT publicity for South Korea.
Bryce Paul "TheMachine" Bates: I believe it is because PuertoRican is from North America. There is no question [that] there are many more skilled players than people such as me, lzgamer, nesh and evade. But I’m glad to see a big tournament for the States.
Tyler "Nony" Wasieleski: Well I don't think their main concern is to find the most talented non-Korean. Their business opportunity was only for North Americans so they're making the best of it.
Dhinesh Kumar "Nesh" Devanathan: America really has no big tournaments besides WCG that the players can participate in like in the other countries. You don’t really often see American players being invited to major tournaments such as Dreamhack and IEST. There is really no big scene for Starcraft in North America, imo.
David "Dino" Kent: I'm not entirely sure about this either, but maybe it's the start of something bigger. Maybe pro teams will start to have regional tournaments like this to invite more foreigners in the future.
Andrew "Slog4" An: Yes, that's what I'm very curious about [it too], because North Americans suck at this game.
Jian Fei "Iefnaij" Wang: I actually have no clue. There are many great European players as well, but their decision of limiting it to North Americans seems very odd. Maybe they just want someone who can speak English fluently so that they can be interviewed, and can express themselves to the media efficiently. Another way to promote SC to non-Korean gamers/fans.
Zhe "XiaoZi" Theng: Not many Europeans are [fit for] going to Korea. Draco went there [already] and Mondi won’t go. I think it’s equal [skill-wise], but Americans are more interested in going to Korea, to be pros.
Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski: If offered the spot I would definitely go to Korea.
Eric "G5" Rothmuller: I would give the money back if it meant that I would be going to korea. The money is nothing... it's all about the opportunity in Estro. Period.
Greg "Idra" Fields: I plan on going to Korea, if I get the spot, assuming I can work it out with the college I get accepted to. I plan on asking for a year or 2 delay in enrolling and go over during that time. I am a senior in high school right now.
Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead: No I would totally go to Korea, if I was invited: the money is great, but the experience would be worth while.
Bryce Paul "TheMachine" Bates: It was my dream for a while to become a pro gamer but now I have realized there are a few names in this tournament I don’t believe I will beat so I don’t think I will have to make a decision on going to Korea.
Tyler "Nony" Wasieleski: If I was chosen to go, I'd seriously consider it. But I haven't been practicing SC since WCG USA (1 month ago) so I'm not in good shape.
Dhinesh Kumar "Nesh" Devanathan: No, I don’t wan to go. I have actually reached the point where I don’t play sc anymore. Mostly because of college.
David "Dino" Kent: I would probably go to Korea if I got picked, I don't care about the money. To be honest, I think I would need more time to think about whether or not I would really go though. I guess I don't have to worry about that until I actually get picked though.
Andrew "Slog4" An: Ok, if I get to win the whole tournament, I don't think I'll be preparing myself to be a progamer. I'll just go for fun trip to hang out with Rekrul.
Jian Fei "Iefnaij" Wang: I'm mainly playing for the money, however if the trip is during my winter break, I'd probably go. I can’t afford to miss more than one week of school.
Zhe "XiaoZi" Theng: I don’t know yet, I want to go, but my parents won’t let me. so if I’m lucky and win, I will convince them to let me go.

strange to see some of the gamers saying that the reason why usa was chosen is because many euro gamers have quit bw(using verb "retire" is funny) and when you look at the list of pla
