F.E.A.R.?

Okay, you are Sweden Fredrik 'tRONic" Haknsson... a Swedish F.E.A.R. player. You have just been recruited to Meet Your Makers. First off, please introduce yourself to the world.
Hello. Like you said I'm Fredrik, I'm 21 years old and live in Habo, a small town in Sweden Sweden.

Tell us about the game you play, because honestly I have the least idea. It is a FPS Xbox game?
Ye, F.E.A.R. is a first person shooter like many other games. You can play it both on PC and Xbox 360/PS3. I'm playing it on the 360 since CPL choose to use the console version. The game was first launched to the PC and sold over a million units before they convert the game for the consoles. I'm playing 1v1 Death match, it contains of a best of three 15 minutes games on four different maps.

You're one of the best players in the world, correct? Are there a lot of tournaments for this game? Enough to be a professional gamer?
According to http://www.cplworldtour.com I'm ranked number one at the world rankings at the moment. I know the PC F.E.A.R. had some tournaments going on for a year ago or a little more. For me its only CPL World Tour I participate in, It contains of five different stops around the world - Italy Italy, Sweden Sweden, United State- USA, Brazil Brazil and Australia Australia, it also have a big final late this year presumably in New York. And to answer your question, yes if you’re good then it’s enough to be a professional game for at least a while.
I know I will focus on it from tomorrow Friday and to New Year only on F.E.A.R. I don't know if you can call that professional game though, since it’s for a short time.
Anyway if you want to be a professional game nowadays you have to play CS and WC3 otherwise you have to change game from year to year since the tournaments switch games.

Interesting, how do you think Console games compete versus PC games like Counter-Strike/Starcraft/Warcraft III? Popularity/Skill wise.
How much skill is it in FIFA-games compared to real Football? What I'm trying to say is that it there is a lot of skill in both no matter if it visual or not. Of course it's skill on both PC and Console games. Console is somehow smaller in Europe then it is in North America. Over there you more or less play CS or you play Halo 2. Like we all know, CS is for PC and Halo 2 for console. I think MLG is one of the biggest tournament leagues in the world and it’s a pure console.
It’s also quite hard to compare PC games to Console games since they not working the same way. You can't have the same aim control on a console game since you playing with small joysticks (pads) with result that you must use your movements more when you aim and so on.
